  1. Are you using non-spaced, contact, and compressed coils? I always use spaced. And I just read somewhere where they said compressed SS coils don't work well with TC. Here is an example how I make spaced coils. This one was using nickel 28g on a Kanger Subtank RBA.

  2. That is how I remember how capacity is measured too. Although I accidentally left three Eneloop AA NiMH 1900mah batteries in my Kaito KA1121 for a few months. The batteries were flat dead. I threw them in one of my XTAR VC4 chargers and they recovered and the capacity came out to be over 3000mah per each battery. Too bad Eneloops doesn't come in 18650 size.

  3. The battery percentage AFAIK is tied to the capacity watt hour value. Mine I set to the value of 18.5Wh, what are you using? I rotate between two Samsung 25r5 and two LGHE2 cells. When my VT133 arrived, HCigar didn't have anything setup correctly except having 2 cell selected.

A SIDE NOTE: I searched for two days to find pics or a video of someone who had taken their VT133 apart. Oddly I can't find anybody that had. I just may have to crack mine open to see if HCigar had done a very nice job like they did with their VT200.

I deleted it, as it was going down hill fast, this forum is for DNA 200 owners, those interested in the device and for Evolv to share info and help each other with these devices, that thread was not.  Broader related topics, socialising and humour are also fine, just play nice.

You may have lost the trust of DNA200 users.

I'm still curious on whether the case temperature settings effectively stop charging the device at certain settings. I have the DNA 200 in a Alpinetech g+ box which is pretty common I would think. I'll have to fiddle with this thing some more when I get home.

Yeah, that part I am not sure? Mine is setup this way.

Thermal -> Case USB Charge Temperature Rise: 10°F + 12°F/A

If they are not set, it probably would stop charging until you blow on the board. And my values won't be correct for yours, but it should be good enough to try.
  6. Well the DNA200 reads ohms from the board, through the mod itself, through the 510, through the atty, and then the coil(s) resistance. Each one is in series and adds up along the way. The DNA200 can be programmed to ignore these resistances, but it must be calibrated to do so.

Hi all, i have problem after updating escribe n firmware to the lastest... My PC won't detect it...it saya usb not recognized I use microsoft windows 7 Anyone have same problem?? How to solve it??

I am too running the latest (1.0.42) and with Windows 7 (I don't do Windows updates unless it is for something I am having a problem with) and I haven't had a single problem. Did you try another USB cable? Careful, some USB cables don't have the data lines connected and only work for charging only.

Yes of course. But since the invention of the airplane, people could be anywhere on the globe in a day's time. Okay crossing over the International Date Line is technically another day, but you know what I mean.
