Hello,

finally I got myself a DNA-Mod, the Triade DNA 250C. In EScribe it shows me 4 battery cells, wich I find very strange (see screenshot). Where does Cell No 4 come from, and what is that measuremt about? In the battery settibns it is set up for 3 cells properly (see 2nd screenshot).

Maybe someone can enlight me...

I don't have an answer for you, I'm curious as well.  The pack voltage is correct for 3 cells, does the mod work properly?

Here is wiring configuration for 3S, note the bridge from 3 to 4

I suspect you will get an answer shortly from another member/staff

The mod just works fine. Now, after giving the batteries an externaL quick charge and putting them back in the mod, I only see 3 cells (like it should be).

But I am also very curious what that was about.

It appears to be no bug at all. When EScribe is started, it shows the correct Amount of cells. After entering debug-mode (don´t know how it´s called) by clicking the Evolv logo dead, it shows the fourth cell. But I am still interested what is measured there...

The 250C is capable of 400 watts using 4 cells.  You are using 3 cells @ 250 watts.  My guess is what you are seeing may be due to the different configurations possible with the DNA250C board.

No, you're fine. I never seen 4 cells with my Triades 250C with EScribe set using English. But I am sure it is just a software bug. Might be do to the language selected or something. Although I do see a 4th cell when using Frank's Paranormal theme. Actually, there are two cell 3s in that theme. And that 4th cell isn't connected inside of the Triade and thus what it is reading is erroneous anyway.
