switey Posted August 20, 2018 Report Posted August 20, 2018 (edited) Greetings fellow vapers! I've been looking into building my own mod, woodwork powered by DNA250c, but with pretty much everything sorted, I've run into one major setback. Can't figure out wiring for a single battery device. The 250c data sheet has 2s, 3s, 4s wiring printed out, but no mention about single cell setup. Does the mean 250c can't run on a single battery? Or am I missing something? Cheers edit: typos Edited August 20, 2018 by switey
retird Posted August 20, 2018 Report Posted August 20, 2018 250C requires multiple batteries or a multi-cell battery..... 2,3 or 4 cells... wire accordingly....
switey Posted August 20, 2018 Author Report Posted August 20, 2018 Thanks for the input. Multi-cell battery? Do you know of any batteries of this type I could use in a mod? I'm opting for a single battery device as its more compact.
Wayneo Posted August 20, 2018 Report Posted August 20, 2018 Maybe a small 3S 11.1V Lipo Pack. ~900mAh x3 somewhere around 9-10Wh can be similar size to a single 26650. Here are the dimensions of one, so you'd need to know your internal room available. Dimensions (mm): 19.8 x 26 x 70
awsum140 Posted August 20, 2018 Report Posted August 20, 2018 Going with a 2 or 3 cell mod versus a 4 cell will limit power output. If you want a single cell, color screen, Evolv mod use a 75C instead. Single cell, 18650 , 26650 or 2?700, no problem since it's, the 75C, designed to work with a single cell.
switey Posted August 21, 2018 Author Report Posted August 21, 2018 Thanks to everyone for all the info. Wish I'd known that before I purchased the 250c. Never even thought single battery is not supported 😕
