benjy337 Posted April 4, 2018 Report Posted April 4, 2018 Hi all, In the new version of Escribe I cannot find where to change the watt increments, on the earlier version I always found it easily. Just got my Paranormal 250c and it's driving me crazy.
67exec Posted April 4, 2018 Report Posted April 4, 2018 Watt increments are setup in the theme designer

sykesy13 Posted April 5, 2018 Report Posted April 5, 2018 Hi there I have been looking for it as well and couldn't find it anywhere either. I do know that it is buried deep in the theme designer but can't find it!!!!. Also what did you set your internal resistance at?. Mine came with it set at 0.04 which seems to high to me. Thank you
benjy337 Posted April 5, 2018 Author Report Posted April 5, 2018 I haven't checked the internal resistance.
James Posted April 5, 2018 Report Posted April 5, 2018 To change Watt Increments, launch Theme Designer and download the theme on your device. Go to the Screens tab, click Main Screen, click the Watts field you want to change. Go to Source, it will say "Coil power". Click Options. Change either Decimal Places or Step Size. Then upload the theme. Should work The "Go to Source, it will say "Coil power". Click Options." ought to be "double click the Watts field", but it has conditions so that doesn't work. It ought to be simpler. I'll add getting rid of that step to my To-Do list. 1 1
sykesy13 Posted April 5, 2018 Report Posted April 5, 2018 Hi James Thanks so much for your time and assistance in this matter, at last someone who says more than just its in the theme designer..
Lipoid Posted April 5, 2018 Report Posted April 5, 2018 Have been trying for about 1 hour, changed the Decimal places to 0,changed the Step Size to 10 & still get .1 increments. Annoying but no biggy.
James Posted April 5, 2018 Report Posted April 5, 2018 Are you in Watts mode? There are two (overlapping) Watts fields on that screen. One (for temperature-sensing coils) looks like 10W 100F The other (for non-temperature-sensing coils) is centered and looks like 10W (Only one of the two shows on the real screen, depending on whether or not the profile's material is temperature-sensing.)
Lipoid Posted April 5, 2018 Report Posted April 5, 2018 It seems to be working on some screens but not on Replay mode .
sykesy13 Posted April 5, 2018 Report Posted April 5, 2018 Hi James I take it that it is the bottom one that shows the main screen
