shehabismail
Hello. I own a VS 250, it came with the Fullymax 11.1v 3S 900mah 30C LIPO. After couple of months it stopped charging and when I opened Escribe device monitor I found that 1 cell was @ 3.7 volt and the other 2 were too low @1.7 Volts. I purchased new exact lipo and when i replaced the dead lipo it says its charging now at 0.001 - 0.007 Amp or lower as you can see on the screenshot attached. I am lost and i dont know what else to do, any help appreciated.
VapingBad
Check Device Monitor - Diagnostics - Enable USB Charging as nothing to stop it charging in that screen shot.

Wayneo
@shehabismail In escribe v2.x there's a clear disable/enable USB charging. Can you post a FULL printscreen please. Does the mod display show a charging icon, after say 1 minute? Apart from the thicker +/- battery connector, did you plug in the smaller one (usually white) with 4 thinner wires?
shehabismail
@Wayneo No charging icon. I redownloaded escribe, same version i had previously installed. Full screenshot attached with the options I get when I click on Diagnostics

Look at your voltages now, I'd stop using the mod till you get this sorted. What version of escribe? If it were charging, that 'Mode' (bottom left would say charging). 2 hours ago, Wayneo said: Apart from the thicker +/- battery connector, did you plug in the smaller one (usually white) with 4 thinner wires? You might wanna check that
shehabismail
@Wayneo usb voltage is @ 5.337 volts i am not using it since i posted yesterday i had half of battery left and now its fully drained without usage (no way to shut down the mod except taking the battery out). I did attach the smaller white 4 pin one other than the negative and positive
Wayneo
I'd open the mod and check the charging cable is plugged in properly while apart, and that it will charge. I do believe you're now into recovery charge mode territory. Are you now on your 2nd battery with only 5K puffs? shehabismail
@Wayneo The first battery died after 3 months i bought the mod and i left it until i got a new battery recently. The first one died in a similar fashion but i knew it died as 2 cells were below 1v and 1 cell was @ 3.7v and since i put this new battery yesterday it showed half full and couldnt charge it since then but the 3 cells are reporting similar voltages. I wonder the board still remembers the old decision it took to stop charging the first failed battery and is acting up the same with this new LiPo. It is the same exact lipo that came with it originally, the Fullymax 30c one
Wayneo
Contact Vaporshark while it's still within warranty. "All Vapor Shark manufactured devices are covered by a 120 day limited warranty."

shehabismail
@Wayneo something interesting. I removed the other white connector and when i did that the battery showed the charging lightning inside of it but still charges at the same o.o10 amps. as soon as i reattch it it gets out of charging mode
Wayneo
No idea at all. Here's a screenshot with my Lipo JST unplugged. No icon on screen. Mode shows normal, all cells show '0', and small USB current. Are you sure you're replacing that connector where the OG was plugged in? I haven't seen the internals of a VS. shehabismail
@Wayneo I gave up and went to a local vape shop for repair. They suspect the issue is with the Charge IC above the usb port in attached photo they said they will try to work it out
Wayneo
Well, your board does have a real 1 year warranty from Evolv, and if you open a trouble ticket they'd guide you. EVOLV HELP DESK - https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/?a=add
