Romantic Posted July 15, 2017 Report Posted July 15, 2017 My mood therion DNA 133 does't work i need I c management how can I get it?
Wayneo Posted July 15, 2017 Report Posted July 15, 2017 About 'management'. If you want 'mod' escribe software https://forum.evolvapor.com/topic/66731-early-firmware-and-escribe-suite/ If you want official Evolv Technical support/Help Desk https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/?a=add
Spector NS5 RD Posted July 15, 2017 Report Posted July 15, 2017 you want the analog front end IC? this is the IC - http://www.ti.com/product/BQ76925 - bq76925 VQFN (24) 6.50 mm × 4.40 mm mouser or digikey will most likely have them in stock...... you will need a hot air station to replace and SMD rework experience, not easy to reflow without proper heat shielding protecting other nearby board components from burning/melting FYI. why not just RMA the board to Evolv for replacement @Romantic? 2
Sovan Posted February 26, 2018 Report Posted February 26, 2018 @ChunkyButt200 It's not the Power management IC under the the USB port , right ?
Sovan Posted February 26, 2018 Report Posted February 26, 2018 @dwcraig1 yeah I meant this IC but I believe its not the same one on the link he posted
dwcraig1 Posted February 26, 2018 Report Posted February 26, 2018 Scroll to part 6 http://www.ti.com/product/BQ76925/datasheet/abstract#SLUSAM91134

dwcraig1 Posted February 26, 2018 Report Posted February 26, 2018 Don't feel bad, I'm confused as well. Perhaps ChunkyButt200 will chime in. 1
Spector NS5 RD Posted February 26, 2018 Report Posted February 26, 2018 First off, @Sovan you know Evolv warranties the board for 1 year. Even after one year it is still worth sending them an email about your situation. You never know, they might still help you out. The only reason i posted the link for the analog front end IC is for people who have experience with Hot Air Re-work stations and have a good understanding of soldering SMD components. This IC replacement is not for the average person who owns a soldering iron. I have experience re-flowing small BGA and QFN packaged IC's. RGE Package 24-Pin QFN With Thermal Pad 2
