Gm111 Posted August 1, 2015 Author Report Posted August 1, 2015 So I take a puff in device monitor and the graph shows up like this with time scale set to 5 seconds, any ideas why? this is running 07.29 update.
KTMRider Posted August 1, 2015 Report Posted August 1, 2015 Graph Options> Set time scaleTry 60 seconds.
Gm111 Posted August 1, 2015 Author Report Posted August 1, 2015 here is my settings filegm111_new.zip
mandro Posted August 1, 2015 Report Posted August 1, 2015 I'm also having a similar live view display using windows vista.
Gm111 Posted August 1, 2015 Author Report Posted August 1, 2015 okay so at maybe this is just windows vista for you haha, I hope so I will be relieved to find out that everything is fine
John Posted August 1, 2015 Report Posted August 1, 2015 If you install an old escribe, like 7/1, does it do the same for you, or is it related to the new antialiased graph code? I am sure this is something simple, like a dll that doesn't include by default on vista. We will find it next week.
mandro Posted August 1, 2015 Report Posted August 1, 2015 Mine as been the same ever since the original download of escribe (7/1)
Gm111 Posted August 1, 2015 Author Report Posted August 1, 2015 okay how about do I go to download 7/1 as I have never run this, I've only got 26/6 and 9/7? Okay Thanks John
Gm111 Posted August 1, 2015 Author Report Posted August 1, 2015 I've just tried 26/6 and it's still the same?
blueridgedog Posted August 2, 2015 Report Posted August 2, 2015 Same issue under XP (in a virtual box on mac). I will setup a Win7 vBox and test it. I did not know people still ran Vista!
Willy Posted August 2, 2015 Report Posted August 2, 2015 I'm having the same issue, also using Vista (Home Premium 32 bit). I tried two older versions of escribe and it does the same thing with all of them.
James Posted August 4, 2015 Report Posted August 4, 2015 If you set the time scale to 1 second does it make the displayed part wider? What fonts size are you using/video card? I wonder if I can find a similar computer to test with.
blueridgedog Posted August 4, 2015 Report Posted August 4, 2015 Tested in VirtualBox on my mac. Works in 7 and later, not in earlier. Could be .net support for the more senior MS OS's. Great tool and supporting XP and prior is probably a stretch.

I'm pretty sure it was the same James, I can't really comment on this at the moment as I've burnt out a balancing charger pin so my Dna is useless at the moment, I believe I shorted it against my enclosure .. I'm on my phone at the moment but how could I find out what video card it has, this is an old pc and I'm not use to windows, I use a Mac normally? Any info I could give to help you I will unless someone else who's having this problem beats me to it.
Willy Posted August 4, 2015 Report Posted August 4, 2015 James, I tried and it doesn't matter, I tried different setting all no go. BTW if you try to go below 5 seconds the pop-up comes up and says I tried pushing all the buttons and it doesn't matter, but one thing I did notice, if you hit Pause then release it after a couple seconds, straight lines appear part way across the screen coming from the way points. But then it goes back to the way point reading just jumping on the right edge of the screen. Here's info on my computer, hope this helps.
James Posted August 5, 2015 Report Posted August 5, 2015 I was able to reproduce this on Windows 7's "Windows XP Mode".Maybe an issue with graphics hardware acceleration? I reimplemented a draw call and fill call in software, and... It's working great now. The fix will be in the next EScribe update.
