Help Please

escribe will not connect my device. Reinstalled software and same thing. It did work last week so I'm kinda at a loss

make sure you use that cable that worked last week. usb cables are finnicky, some work and some don't some do charge and data, some only do charging. try a bunch of different usb cables.

I am using what cable it came with. Unless this one already took a crap on me. I'll have to check other ones

So I have tried a half dozen cables and no luck. I'm at a loss

does your mod at least charge via usb? does your comp alert you when you plug your mod in to it? as in "device found" or sumpin like that. i'll try and help, maybe someone who had this problem and found a solution could chime in?

charges fine. no I don't get an alert when I plug it in to the computer, just starts charging. i'm running windows 10 if that helps

when it comes to computers and software, i am lacking in skills. maybe try and reinstall the escribe program. as long as your mod connected with the same usb cable last week, there's no reason why it shouldn't connect now. can you try and connect from another comp? a friends, a spare, or even go to best buy or walmart and download escribe onto one of their computers and try to connect your mod lol. i've done it. just to see what escribe was like when it was first released.

Glad it worked...that's usually the first thing I tell people to do, when they run I to Escribe issues. Seems to work more often than not.

Win 10: we got ridd of it, not easy to do that either... somthing changed every few weeks, we were feeling like victims of a cruel experiment..

Win 10 works just fine here..... upgraded to it and all legacy equipment/software just kept on going...one legacy printer is 5 years old..
