firstdna200
I get this error message every time I try to upload settings to my device, I couldn't find anything on this forum about it. Any ideas?
firstdna200
So to update I believe this issue is from me using the aluminum enclosure as the ground through one of the grounded post-holes instead of having a wire to the 510 connector, anyone know how I can go about fixing this error? I can't run a ground from my chip to the 510.
James
That error is related to either a curve in a profile, or the battery discharge curve. Either way, with normal settings you should not encounter it. What language is your version of Windows running, and what EScribe version? Could you post the settings file that causes this? Thanks

Thanks Yeah I haven't really messed around with the battery discharge curve or anything like that. I've been getting this problem ever since I first tried to upload my settings so I'm not too sure what it could be. I'm not really sure what you mean by language, but I'm running windows 7. Version 1.0.32 EScribe. I'll upload the settings file as well. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.dna_200_settings.ecig

Dampmaskin
Are you using US English language and localization settings in Windows, or a different language or country setting?Maybe you could post the settings file here, for others to test? VapingBad
Sounds just like a decimal format mismatch where the csv and Windows are using different formats, UK & US use . for decimal and many other countries use ,You could make a copy of the csv and edit that in notepad or notepad++ to you local format (save the default one to a file so you can see exactly what is required) or temporally change the Windows setting, but I thought the later versions of EScribe had addressed this issue. I think I'm just going to run the battery analyzer and I'll see if that fixes the problem.

ahabse7en
I'm having the same problem on a Vaporshark DNA 200. For the life of me I can't get it to work. I'm on Windows 10 and just updated to the latest version of Escribe. Tried changing the language to US english (from Australian english!!) and no go. Other than attempting to analyze the battery (!) I'm at a loss.
ahabse7en
Not sure whether this is a solution or I just ran into some luck. But I changed the .exe file's compatibilty to Windows 7 and it coincided with it working. However, out of curiosity I then uninstalled and reinstalled without the Win 7 compatibilty mode and it worked as well. Initially I was working back through the escribe versions to see if that would work and just before I installed the 2015.08.07 version (the one on which I decided to change the compatibility) I had to reboot my system. Maybe this had something to do with it. I'm confused but happy it's working.
Scocla
I've Googled (the verb   everything I can think of in search for a remedy to the problem, and only find (end up here) this thread. So another user with the error Failed To Upload Settings / Curve is not one-to-one.Initially was running an older version (1.0.30.1) upgraded to latest 1.0.35.2 --> same-same.Strange, everything works; downloading from device, upgrading device firmware (Reuleaux DNA 200), I can even lock ohms when I select the chk-box for 'Ohms-Locked'???All the tools seems to work fine reading all the parameters ...Tried uninstall / re-install. Tried the 'compatibility to Windows 7' thin to no avail; run as Admin ... nope. New USB cable ...As soon as I connect (the working device) and hit the 'Upload Settings to Device' button, I get the error (no changes in any of the settings)? From the device itself I am able to make changes to all the settings available (so I'm kinda 'assumin' the device is OK).Anyone find the source of the issue and a fix?I'm kinda at a loss; Any Ideas !?!Failed To Upload SettingsCurve is not one-to-one. Scocla
So not a reply so much as an Update.Brought up a new VMware machine (win7_64bit) on my PC (also win7_64bit) and installed the latest version of EScribe. Both my Whiteout and Realeaux can be programmed.Everything works right off the bat! So that points to drivers / libraries being used be the .exeSo on my primary PC I tried ...Started placing DimensionSerialPort.sys & WdfCoInstaller01009.dll in the executable directory - nope. Then tried replacing WdfCoInstaller01009.dll in \system32 and DimensionSerialPort.sys in system32\drivers - still nope.I'm gonna hate going through the other 25 drivers to see whats-up.Not even sure if I can track 'em all down as far as what is in use when I fire up Escribe and try to push updates to the devices.Sounds like a long and tedious process using Process Monitor (I'm assuming that's my best bet to track libraries in use during certain actions.Still - I'm open to ideas! James
Could you send me the file that is giving this error? Thanks! JamesAlso, for a VaporShark version, please try the EScribe in the Early Firmware thread and let me know.
Scocla
As I said earlier, I've proven it to be a Windows Driver issue; and that I am open to suggestions ...So yes, my number formats are correct as well.Drivers in question - DimensionSerialPort.sys & WdfCoInstaller01009.dll.I just need to find what (hidden) device is using which set of drivers incorrectly. On my machine that IS working to Mods are using COM port 8. I'm not sure if this is the default port and still investigating the driver versions.
