Right! At least its simple but its about a 5 minute job

it should be able to fire without the screen connected if the fuse hasn't blown!
obviously you will have a little difficulty knowing when its unlocked, but connected to escribe you should still be able to set it to an atty and adjust your heat and power..........
if you can change your screen you shouldn't have to much difficulty testing the fuse, possibly even replacing the fuse..

Just curious.... hook your mod up to EScribe and go to Device Monitor....  What does it say in the lower left hand corner of Device Monitor (where it says "Mode") ?

While connected to EScribe, under the Themes tab, just pick one of the screens and select Capture. That shows you what is supposed to be on the screen right now. That way you can see what is going on with the DNA200.

UPDATE: retird replied while I was typing. That is a good thing to do as well.

Thanks guys! But ill have to let you know a little later since I fudged my computer up trying to download escribe. When I wiggle my screen around it works for a split second

You know, that screen ribbon is attached to the board by a ZIF connector. If the latch became just a tad loose or the ribbon somehow got pulled a little, reseating it might clear it up. Although if the ribbon failed because it was being pitched my the fire button... well then you need a new screen.

So evolv was going to fix it but its just the screen I hooked it to describe and played with it... Amazing product! I'll fix the screen and keep it thanks everyone for all the suggestions you guys are great

yep it vapes fine. the fire button is just hard to press and the screen ribbon is junk. i guess ill send it in to evolv... but none the less it works lol

I got one last question. What do they charge if I rma my board? I'm going to go that route unless its to much

If covered by warranty there is usually no charge but you pay for shipping old board to them.

You would be buying a new screen or board screen included, ryan can you get the back off and put some pictures up..

Well the only reason I would send it in is the fire button is hard to press. The screen is an easy fix. And sure what do you want to see pics of?

I wanted to see if the ribbon was dragging on the button shaft, how have you got on with it anyway?

hey, yeah it was pinching the ribbon from what i could see. and i just went on to escribe and set it to the setting i liked and use it like that... until i get a new screen lol

I have the same issue and I am completely fed up with evolv and the whole DNA stuff.
3 weeks ago my Lost Vape Duo DNA200 stopped working (says only "Check battery") and yesterday the DNA75 in my Encom "New Beast" only shows a black screen. 
I am really annoyed that devices which cost 2-3x more than a SMOK box mod are unusable without any reason.

Could the Beast be in "stealth" mode?

Nope, I am 100% sure that it isnt the stealth mode what causes the issue.
