Clairenix Posted December 21, 2016 Author Report Posted December 21, 2016 I've left it at home and when I came back, every time I press fire, the screen turns on but as soon as I let go of firing, it immediately turns off.If I hold the fire button, it turns on and gets to the mode screens and is sort of operational (except for the fact that you're holding fire).. Usb can't detect it but no voltages on battery and or charge on screen. Could this be a battery problem? or is my DNA broken in some way? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQGSPi5mNAYExactly the same as this!
VapingBad Posted December 21, 2016 Report Posted December 21, 2016 Looks like it is not connecting to one of the cells, I don't own one of those so not familiar with the internals to make specific advice, what do the cell voltages show up as in Device Monitor.
Clairenix Posted December 21, 2016 Author Report Posted December 21, 2016 Hey man, Looks like you're right, cell no.1 is not making full contact no matter what battery I use in it. Even tried mixing it up, it was always cell no.1 ...what do I do?
VapingBad Posted December 21, 2016 Report Posted December 21, 2016 IDK with those, the rolo had a similar issue when the ground screw from the battery cradle became loose.
Clairenix Posted December 21, 2016 Author Report Posted December 21, 2016 Damn, it's okay. Atleast I got a lead, I'm not so sure if the problem is internal or external tho.
dwcraig1 Posted December 21, 2016 Report Posted December 21, 2016 See that cell #2 reading 5.05 volts, the board is the problem.

I see, these are nearly fresh batteries and I was thinking cell #2 was reading the right amount.. Is my only course of action to file a ticket @evolv? or is there something I can do about it?
dwcraig1 Posted December 21, 2016 Report Posted December 21, 2016 Where you bought it if new, Lost Vape service center or a ticket with Evolv.4.2 volts is full charge for most Li-on cells, there are some that are 4.35 volts.

I was hoping to troubleshoot it on my own but seems like I have no choice but to get help from suppliers... I hope they reply soon. mod's pretty new.
Wayneo Posted December 21, 2016 Report Posted December 21, 2016 Gents, while the problem is real, there was missing/vague information. First off, that photo does not match any Lost Vape product and it's certainly no Triade 3 battery mod like the video or the photo. It's a 2 battery Thinkvape Finder 167 I bet. Then again, the OP's vagueness never did say it was, nor was that ever clarified. If it is pretty new, the place of purchase would be where to start, and they should repair/replace that for you.
