New Hcigar DNA 250 wont charge batteries

Hello, my new DNA 250 wont charge using the usb cable.
The first day I bought it, I left it to charge overnight, and since then
it wont charge through usb.
Any possible fixes?

Looks like you have it set to max-recharges on the mod tab in EScribe, that limits the charge to 4.1 V which will approximately double the life of your batteries.  Choose max-puffs to charge to 4.2 V, you will need the options - UI set to advanced to see the mod tab.

Thank you for the reply, it wont charge even if cell voltage is 3.0V. 
I charge the batteries using external charger now

 Could you vape on it for awhile to discharge the batteries some & then post another screenshot of device manager & possible one of the 'Mod' tab...

I have vaped till 3.75V per cell.

Have you tried a different USB cable...different USB port on your computer...or even tried charging via USB wall adapter? I had a USB cable that came with my 250 that I had to replace due to problems...

Let me ask a couple of questions that I meant to ask yesterday...gotta ask
Did you try a different USB cable?
Did you try another power sourse?

I have tried different cables and wall adapter 5v/2.1a.
It charged through usb for half day the first day I bought it. Then it stopped.
I bought it 3 days ago. Should I request a replace?

I would start with the vendor you bought your device from...if no luck there, contact Hcigar...http://service@hcigar.com

If all else fails, you can try contacting Evolv, but they are going to probably want you to remove the board from the device & ship it to them, in the U.S. & this will probably void your warranty as well...https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/?a=add

Did ya'll notice the default mod thermal settings also? Are the mfgr's really this lax and not doing this, or is it new users happy with a hard reboot?  (I notice there were no resets of the data in his screen shots)

Of my 8 mods, I think only 1 came with the case thermals set at other than the default...Triade....

Of my 6 different brands all have been set, including LostVape Efusion Duo, just lucky I guess. (I run my own anyway)

You may want to try this...in Escribe, go to Device Monitor>Diagnostics>Reset USB Current Limit...if the USB has been inadvertently disabled, this will re-enable it...can't hurt to try...

Neither Reset Usb Current Limit had any effect.
I will try to get a replace.
