  1. My Device was made late October as well. But the board was programmed earlier and this is factor which counts. Sorry to hear that your device needs to be send it. Wish you good luck and that your device will soon be in your hands. Fully running of course
  2. Did you upgrade to the lastest service pack? there was an issue mentioned about idle devices with connection problems. Also reset the device through escribe if you can connect.
  3. The warmth option together with the replay is really a cool feature which i do like. Takes from my view a bit more energy but delivers the vape "warmness" you like and can be set on your taste. I drew a line from the "normal" 8 Watt settings and compared it against the warmth factor which pulses the device with higher wattage. Plus the feature to save you against dry hits. Now i just need to figure out how i can keep my custard from branding to fast into the coils and wick... Another challenge..
  4. Set boost mode to Zero. Kept warmth at 4. Acted pretty the same in replay as in normal mode . First 4 curves. Then activated boost mode with 4 and kept warmth with 4. Mod used Boost and Warmth option in Replay when fired and felt down as the resistance went up. Nearly a TC Mod with Boost. And as a bonus a pulsing to keep the vape warmer by using more wattage then set on the settings of the mod. Depending on the warmth value your coil can get up to the tripple amount of wattage that you set at the beginning. So boost and wattage. And will stay over the limits when the pulse comes into effect.
  5. Hey, did use a 0.5 Pod and connected it to the device monitor. Reset the mod to default so 8 Watt and 6 Boost which i reduced to 5. Another change was the Replay Warmth Option from 5 to 6. Here are 2 pictures from the monitoring. Without Replay the mod starts to boost und goes down to the wattage which was selected. As soon as Replay is activated the device boost and the pulses with the value you set on warmth option. Does not matter what maximum selection you made on the settings tab. it can be even double as much wattage as you set before. The curve from replay keeps the coil and so the flavour on a higher or minimum the same wattage you set on the DL/MTL settings. If the coil is cold it even went up to 18 Watt in replay together with the boost which was around 11 or 12. So 8 + 5 + Warmth Option 6 = 19 Watt it looks like. With this your vape will of course get warmer but your coil gets more power and may burn the liquid into the coil. While the resistance kept pretty stable after heating the coil up.
  6. Hello, curios to know your settings for your all day liquids. As i am still struggling with my settings. I am a custard, creme, vanilla fan. Yes these liquids will bring the coil/pod earlier to an end but i simply can't stay away from them. Maybe we can bring up here a list for different liquids and so their best settings for the pods. I know flavour changes to every person but other could give it a try. Personally i do like a warmer vape. Thanks! Custard, creme, pudding, caramel, nuts, cakes MTL 0.5 DL 0.25 Watt 10/11/12 14/15/16 Boost 5/4/3 6/5/4 Warmth 10 10
  7. WOW! Just WOW... With a black print the Orion goes back to black then
  8. SP19 is out with a few firmware fixes when device is idle. Win : http://www.dna200.de/win-escribe-software/ Mac : http://www.dna200.de/mac-escribe/ Linux: http://www.dna200.de/escribe-linux/
  9. @67exec was more ment as a joke. i do like people with ideas and the power to act on them. This is was brings us forwards.
  10. WOW... that was fast. Great Job! Reserve the website - 3dorionparts.com for a shop
  11. @67exec with fusion we would be able to work together at the project. i think they even offer a chat. If you like to work together at such a project. But i guess it will be no rocket science for you to guess what i mean based on the step file thanks!
  12. You rock! But check the file. Just a "first idea" i am sure there will be changes. Maybe an o-ring cutout as well. If you are using Fusion 360 we can share the model online if you like. I guess you are sitting in the US so its pretty hard to send them to Europe. But if the file would be great i can look for a hub nearby.
  13. How about removing the AFC Ring and use the DT for it? Bit shorter as well. About 15 mm. I measured: Diameter from DT Base 7.5 mm AFC Ring 9.3 mm Height AFC Ring 5 mm Airflow 1.5 High, 4.5 Wide, 2 mm from Bottom STEP file attached. Orion_Wide_DT v1.step
  14. well. ... Better not use an Apple Charger. This can be misleading. Now I used a „dumb“ HTC 1A charger an e voila much better results. Started with 3.6 - 45 minutes had 4.08 and 60 minutes a full charge with 4.19 Volt. Will now try the 0.5 pod and see if I could come around on my working day usually 8-9 hours
  15. Hey, from what i see it looks like a replay mode enabled setup. As the resistance is pretty constant and the wattage throttles down to keep it. What settings do you have setup on escribe? Which Pod? How high was your max wattage and boost? 40 Watt is just boost so the device will anyway switch back to 30 then.
  16. Thank you @retird and @67exec Just in the office here we should have some 1A chargers around. Will try different chargers and cables as well.
  17. Excellent.. i know someone will try to print them. What about a tip which covers the airflow slots as well. A kind of press fit with some knurling so the whole tip could be used to adjust the airflow. The AFC is a ring which can be removed so use the drip tip to make this work and bring it to the bottom as one part. And the all black would then really look all black. Maybe Carbon printed as well About the tank caps. Do they really seal the tank? I saw some custom made resin DTs as well on a facebook post earlier. But a standard 510 would be best in my opinion. Even if they can get loose and lost. i bet there will be new tanks/pods coming out with these features.
  18. So far my testing... Boost mode testet from 3 to 8. And you can see the difference on the device monitor and actually hear it as the coil ramps up faster. Then enabled each time replay mode and checked the warmth option from 3 to 11. YES the vape is getting warmer which brings much more nuances from the flavors in the vape. Love it.. But would like to understand it. As i could not really see a difference on the device monitor. Only explanation i would have is that the chip keeps the curve smaller and so stays closer to the resistance in the replay memory. pretty cool "mystical" feature
  19. Set me a timer now on 45 minutes. Used the delivered usb cable on a ipad charger. Started with 3.4 Volt ended after 45 minutes with 3.85 Volt. Mod is handwarm. Device monitor tells me 54% charged. Can i leave a DNA Go over night on the charger? Usually never did this with mods.
  20. Hey Folks, did tried to google it but could not find much details about best charging through the DNA Go to the 950 mAh Battery. Many reports stated 45 minute for a full charge. To be honest. Mine takes much longer. 60 and more minutes. I used my iPad charger until today which is able to deliver 2.1A of charging power. Lost Vape says on their Website 1M Charging Board. OK, i used a normale USB cable the same i use to connect to escribe. Not the delivered one. But this should not make a difference i guess. Is this the wrong one then? Would love to reach the 45 minutes as i might need to recharge in the office during the breaks. So do you recommend a special charger? Curious to know which chargers you use. thanks armin
  21. @retird Great help! Thank you, much appreciated. Now i am sure and know where to look for it. Will get anyway another one next week. And yes i will keep fingers crossed. We here in Europe say "monday mods" to them which have the issue. So 6 days more to go and buy have a great weekend! cheers armin
  22. @retird Exactly i am refering to the Board was made in October. Just to be sure that this would mean "board programmed" not Mod configured. Ok, i my option i would love to hear it vice versa and would be out of the struggle. thanks retird!
  23. Hey all, forgive me i know that this might be asked already but i just want to understand the "warmth" option beneath the Replay menu. Keep your vape warmer - so far so good. Does this mean this option jumps is when boost is finished? So i boost the device get the coil to the needed temp with a fast ramp up and then warmth will do something? But what and how. Replay sticks to the resistance of the coil and keeps it just like a TC would do. But a warmer vaper would somehow mean more power or i am missing something. Ladies and Gentlemen, please enlighten me! thanks armin
  24. Hey, i downloaded the newer Version SP18 from the German Forum here. Software is still english. https://my.pcloud.com/publink/show?code=4le Not quite sure why there is an US and EU version at all. I mean software is software and language is not software. Anyway i am used to english. If you run Mojave this fixes it. Then Menu Tools apply Service Pack will upgrade the device.
  25. @retird thank you! This is the picture i posted. But is it the "Board programmed" or the "Mod configured" the right detail?" Board Programmed 27th September Mod configured 29th October
