  1. I also get case static temp rise 0 degrees here when running case-analyser with the latest early sp.
  2. Nice! This version works much better reading the cold ohms. Great work, James! Is the case analyzer fixed as well (too aggressive values) or is it better still to use the default-thermal-settings instead of running it?
  3. That matches exactly my experience: I know what the temperature is roughly when firing on my DNA250. So I up the cold ohms manually until I get about the same temp which is in the range you describe and the end result also matches roughly what my coilmaster build deck measures. After manually having upped the ohms TC works fine.
  4. Any news on this? SP22 which comes with the Mac OS Beta of Escribe doesn't seem to fix it. Cold ohms are still a good amount to low when reading the resistance the first time.
  5. Lost Vape always uses the default-thermal-settings for their mods. In this case the case analyzer seems indeed to have some bug (also in the new versions of escribe): The values are far to aggressive and for now one seems to better off with the defaults...
  6. You quoted James for your own post, please correct this because that's rather confusing. You can set the unlock-sequenze, the lock time and to lock when idle or not in Escribe. You can set the idle time in the theme in theme-designer. @James: I know this is mainly a mac-beta-version-thread but since SP22 is included: Cold ohms still read a good amount too low compared to the DNA 166 (Therion 166) if reading the coil for the first time. As a result temperature goes up through the roof and TC kicks in far too early. Adjusting it up a bit manually (without locking the resistance) works then fine all the time. It makes no difference if I run case analyzer, use the default-settings or other settings for thermals some people posted as result for my therion 75C. Same behaviour on all my 4 Therion 75Cs (mod resistance is fine). I also noticed that the "wrong" offset seems to have something to do with the coilsize: Using thicker wire (SS316L) or thicker Clapton wire (SS316L) results in a smaller offset from the real resistance when reading cold ohms. Also there seems to be no refinement going on as on the DNA250/166. Is this really the case and the 75C is not able to refine over time?
  7. All non-75C-users: Ignore the temp und punch-settings. It's not a bug but indeed what you can set in Windows-Escribe for the 75C (and only for it), too. So far running finde under Sierra. The only minor problems I have noticed so far are all UI-Bugs: - Sometimes the UI doesn't show when switching via a tab e.g. to MOD-settings. UI does show when resizing the app-window - Fonts seem to have sometimes a size too big to show all info in some dialogs, e.g. when asking to connect the 75C my Therions name is cut off in the dialog-windows
  8. Thermal settings won't resolve the "reading cold ohms too low" issue...so this is out of Lost Vape's Hands.

Just modified djlsbvapes Therion 75C theme with inverse graphics und text for a new color scheme that IMO is better readable in- and outdoors. Background picture credits by JoeCockBill from his Therion 75C theme.
  10. I really dig this theme tough it is a bit hard to read in daylight. Any chance for a "negative" version with black text and symbols so one could use a white background? Of course I could change the text color myself but I am not able to modify the graphical elements.
  11. Seems to be so. I have made the same experience and use the default-values instead. There still seems to be the cold-ohms-bug (reading cold ohms a bit to low) though but it's not that far off with the default-values instead of the case analyzer's ones. I hope well's get a new firmware and escribe-versions soon which fixes both.
  12. That's no firmware update but just Lost Vape Settings for the Therion. The same as if you safe an ecig-file with the factory-settings...
IMO the best theme so far from all the ones that are available here: Nice and very readable layout and I also like the fact that you can change the material on the main screen.
  13. The example you posted with SS430 had more wraps compared to the SS316L, so more wire to heat up which kind of counters the thinner wire and also more surface to produce vapor. I can't predict coil-behaviour with the two materials, all I wanted to say is better adjust the temp according to your taste and likings per coil than going with an absolute number for all materials/coils. With my Therion 166 I use 250C as my sweetspot for the same built (316L) that I vaped on my Yihi-chipset-MOD with 220 C and the result is the same.
  14. Obviously your temp-setting doesn't work with 316(L) and the setup you used (24 AWG, 5-6 wraps @ 2.5 mm): You won't get any dry hits @ 480 F. Dry cotton starts to begin signs of beeing burnt @ 428 F. Wet cotton as in your atomizer takes much, much higher temperatures without producing dry hits. Just go up with the temp bit by bit untill you are satisfied with the vape. It should't get to warm also untill you go much higher. Just give it a try: You can't compare temp-settings for different materials (or even coil-setups) anyway as the same temp-setting not necessarily produces the same result..
  15. Temp limit @ 420F @ 20W seems far to low for me. I also use 316L @ 2.5 mm though mainly Clapton (26AWG + 32 AWG) @ 0,55 Ohms and 30 watts and have set my temp limit to 482F (250C) without getting any too warm vapor or dry hits with an empty tank. The built-in 316 curve from eScribe/Lost Vape is as good as identical with the wire wizard curve from steamengine for 316L Elite btw. So you don't necessarly have to use it on the mod instead of the 316-profile. I guess you just have to ramp up your temp a bit.
