Never again any coated or lacquered Hcigar mods! My 3 weeks old VTC75C loosing color and looking like it is more than a year old IF - i´d go with a stainless one - it also looks like they´ve changed the battery coverage - a step forward!

Can´t await DNA75 and DNA200 to be added !

By the way - best way to practice my bad english - 40 Years ago finished school ...... hopefully the gramma is not too bad ;-) -

Normally Boxer/Rebel using Fat Daddy 510 connectors - for me the best 510 - so if you have problems to tighten the atomizer completely the problem is related to the threading of the atomizers 510 ----SMOK crap? Sorry - maybe others having different experiences with SMOK Atomizers ...... i do´nt like them - to much trouble ;-) -

So - one more try - i´ll take a look into your problem - can you please upload your ecig file of both mods - maybe we can discover whats up............ -

0,019 ohm????? Normally you use a copper tool to read the internal mod resistance - the copper will shorten the 510 connector with no external resistance - so your measurement will only read the internal resistance of the wire - 510 connector - usually it will come out with 0,003 ohms - this 0,003 ohms are part of the total resistance measured with an attached atomizer - if your atomizers coil is 0,16 Ohms you´ll have a total resistance of 0,163 Ohms - the DNA knows that the 0,003 Ohms are not the part of the coil resistance - So without copper tool you´ll never get 100% accurateness - the lower the numbers of the mod (mod resistance) the better it is. But thats my interpretation of the function - as i told you i´m not an expert - stay tuned until someone from evolve follows and answer your question............or someone else here in the forum Regards Mikel -

You´re always welcome! (b.t.w i´m not a specialist - so following my tips is on your own risk) -

In the end you will find out that it is (mostly) 0,003 Ohms of mod resistance (like my Boxer) - for exact results you also should do the case analyze ! -

For the test mod resistance calibration you need to use TC wire - of course your mod will also work with Kanthal coils Please make sure that both mods are using the same wire material curves! -
So now only waiting for the 200 to be added........ Great!
-
Yes - using the same curve on the others! Of course ist no ss316 (V4A) i´m on SS304 (V2A)
-
Here we go! lowbytes1.ecig
-
Bingo!
-
0,36 Ohms
-
Still weird results If i set my resistance manually to 0,334 i get the same results as on my other DNA´s - if i use the measured resistance it is ignoring my power settings (20W) and bouncing around the Preheat power
-
Here we go - attached the VT75C Theme HCIGAR_VT75C.ecigtheme
-
Please use the latest from the thread "Ohms reading too low" you have to manually load it into escribe !
-
Mine set to 0,003 - are you already on the latest beta 24 ?
-
David247 Direct contact to HCIGAR (not me personally but a Member of German DNA group - he has ordered 50 devices directly from Hcigar - when we found out the problem with the battery cover he ask for a replacement and he was told that the new battery covers will not fit the "old tube" - so (after a little shitstorm on the hcigar facebook site) they got an agreement for the spare parts! After giving some comments on the Hcigar site - they blocked me! So for me no chance to get the parts ;-)
-
The "newer" batches of the Hcigar VT75C will have different Battery covers - they´ve also changed the threading of the battery cover and of the bat tube so all early adaptors are disadvantaged - the parts are change able - but how to get them..............? Mine came from gearbest - but i´m sure they will not ship the redesigned parts ..................
-
Flog - No - currently the missing current is captured by the "gray´s" via an inter dimensional tunnel ! Thanks god i´m wearing a hat made out of silver foil ;-)
