  1. Yes, I am running it on 2 computers, with both 200s and 75s.
  2. I dont know the date of that latest Escribe, all I know is the version is 1.0.56
  3. Try running the USBRemove tool from Evolv. No promises but it is worth a try. Then it will reinstall the USB driver on next connect. https://www.dimensionengineering.com/software/USBRemover.zip
  4. If you dont know what FW version is installed, open the mod in Device Manager and look here:
  5. The latest version of EScribe that works with BOTH the DNA200 and the DNA75 is However, make sure you are not running the DNA200 2016-04-25 firmware (which was beta FW). If you are then please roll back to the 2016-02-23 firmware. The most recent "released" version of DNA200 FW you that you should run is 2016-02-23
  6. From another, potentially related, post:
  7. Please look in menu HELP>ABOUT EScribe and tell us exactly what version it is.
  8. If you use "Released" SW/FW you are safe. This German site you used should never have posted beta SW.
  9. Nope, not missing anything. Unless..... you physically puncture the battery.
  10. I will not speak any more on this. I am under NDA with Evolv because I am on their Beta team. I gave the warning to help you out, heed it or dont. But I will say no more.
  11. Not a concern, the board will protect itself against over current/voltage etc. It is rated to handle the full 200w....
  12. Dont know what the root cause is, just told you my own experience and what has been reported elsewhere. My recommendation is to roll back to 2-23-16. Instructions have been posted several times.
  13. It means it came with the latest FW known by the version of Escribe you are using. If you have the latest Escribe, then you also have the latest FW if it isnt prompting you.
  14. I personally am going to keep an eye on this organization. They have legal teams who will be better poised to give us direction. https://www.facebook.com/CASAAmedia/?fref=nf "Today, CASAA, SFATA, AEMSA, AVA and NBS have formally announced their coalition to pursue legal and legislative strategies now that the FDA’s final deeming regulations have been released."
  15. Relevant links of interest Direct from the FDA: Vaporizers, E-Cigarettes, and other Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS): http://www.fda.gov/TobaccoProducts/Labeling/ProductsIngredientsComponents/ucm456610.htm Retail Overview: http://www.fda.gov/TobaccoProducts/GuidanceComplianceRegulatoryInformation/Retail/ucm205021.htm Importing and Exporting: http://www.fda.gov/TobaccoProducts/Labeling/ucm290823.htm Now, there are an Army of Lawyers pouring over this thing, and I am sure they will find some loopholes here and there, but this is where it stands as of now.
  16. FDA says: "Do NOT give away free samples of e-cigarettes or other ENDS, including any of their components or parts" http://www.fda.gov/TobaccoProducts/GuidanceComplianceRegulatoryInformation/Retail/ucm205021.htm
  17. Does this site have a "PLONK" button?
  18. Black Lace, it obvious you have not read the regulations or the various summaries on it. Please read that actual new law before challenging us further. Edited to add: Here is a good link to start with: www.fda.gov/TobaccoProducts/Labeling/ProductsIngredientsComponents/ucm456610.htm
  19. From the FDA website: "If you operate a vape shop that mixes or prepares liquid nicotine or nicotine-containing e-liquids, or creates or modifies any type of ENDS, you are considered a manufacturer" The green part means Mom and Pop shop that mix ejuice. The purple part means Modders, anyone who creates a Mod and sells it.
  20. I rolled mine back with v1.0.55 which I think may have been beta only.
  21. I rolled back on one device successfully. I was on the 04-25-16 FW. I flashed the 02-23-16 firmware on it, got the "Upload Settings" message, and checked all the settings in Escribe and clicked the "Upload Settings to Device" button. It worked and I have been using the device for 3 days since.
