As was mentioned before: using the Theme tab, pick one of the themes and click the capture button. You can do this at anytime to see what the screen is currently trying to display. Knowing what the screen is currently saying (but you can't see on the screen) may help you.
As black lace said the device will operate without the screen... -
Stand off's are ground also (see data sheet).

DNA75 just released so lots of orders for Evolv to fill. Normally the boards won't show up on Evolv's site until vendor/manufacturer demand slows a bit. They will eventually be up on Evolv's web site.
-
Are you using the on-board buttons or external buttons?
Also you should check all the ground connections of your device. Loose grounds or poor grounds can cause many issues. -

Most interesting, I'm now running it. (on a 200)
What Version of EScribe are you running? -
If covered by warranty there is usually no charge but you pay for shipping old board to them.
You never answered my question.... So you hooked it up to EScribe..... what did you find out was shown in Device Monitor under "Mode"? -
So you hooked it up to EScribe..... what did you find out was shown in Device Monitor under "Mode"? I guess you got it vaping again, right?
-
Just curious.... hook your mod up to EScribe and go to Device Monitor.... What does it say in the lower left hand corner of Device Monitor (where it says "Mode") ?
-
It's probably more than the screen if it won't vape...
-
My guess is that it's the screen.... hook it up to EScribe and see if everything else still functions.... I assume it still vapes...
-
Here isa link.... just figure out what size enclosure you will need and you should be able to find one here:

From your pictures it shows 4.20 Volts but the charge circuit is still running, thus not fully charged yet. Run Battery analyzer and let the battery get fully charged and it should start auto- firing to run the battery down...
-
Why not just submit a ticket to Evolv? They should be able to advise and possibly RMA if needed....
-
I might just add a comment...... I'm not sure what you are experiencing nor the cause but since last July I have always had a DNA-200 connected to my desktop computer and the usb stays connected 24 hours a day every day of the week. I vape it when at the desktop and have had no issue such as you are having no matter the charge level.
Just giving my experience with it...

"Targeting seven to fourteen olds".... get real man...... Evolv doesn't roll that way.... apology in order IMO....

See if this helps..... just a thought
Trouble detecting the device after you apply it, download and run the USBRemover.bat from:
https://www.dimensionengineering.com/software/USBRemover.zip
That will cause Windows to reinstall it the next time it is plugged in. This is a one-time thing and you shouldn't have to do it for any future firmware updates. -
Is your USB cable a charge onlycable or a data/charge cable? Make sure your usb cable can transfer data and not just charge.
-
Just let VS fix it.... it may also be a fractured insulator between the center pin and the 510 frame (ground).
-
You might contact them and see if they received your package... 6 or 8 weeks seems a long time... stuff does get lost in transit from time to time or delivered to the wrong address... you know they have moved a little while ago, right...?
-
Maybe just voltage loss in the device build. Have you checked the output voltage at the board with a meter?
-
If you want a great 510 you might consider this one:
