  1. Unless you are familiar and experienced at surface mount solder rework, and have access to parts, unfortunately there isn't a whole lot you can do on your end to fix the issue if it is in fact a board issue.
  2. Not sure if you've resolved this yet, but I have come across a few triads while doing repairs that the battery cell balance wire will break off the terminal and make a faulty connection. If you already sent it in for repair through evolv, it's probably one I saw this issue on.
  3. That is a common problem in lava box I've seen while doing repairs, it's most likely a board issue due to e juice on bare connections or in the USB port itself. (Evolv coats the boards but the solder connections and plugs are bare.) If you open a ticket with evolv, I'll be the one to look at it. I recommend periodically wiping any excess liquid off and out of the MOD to minimize issues in the future.
  4. Which device are you trying to connect? Have you tried another USB cable? Does the USB port on the Device look okay, not mangled or have bent or broken pins?
  5. Triads have a Known issue with the battery sled, where the batteries dont make a good connection if the upper and lower part of the sled separate too far. Also after working on a few, I have found another issue of the cell balance wires that are soldered to the terminals will break off and cause the batteries to not be read and will cause the 0% issue. If you can, a screen shot of device monitor showing the cell voltages would help.
  6. If you can connect it to escribe, check under the mod tab, make sure it is still setup for 2 cell configuration and not 3 cell. If it is still on 2 cell, check device monitor, and see what the cells read. if one of the cells reads lower voltage or ZERO volts, it is a board issue and needs serviced. I don't know about thinkvape's warranty, but I know Evolv will cover board issues. you can submit a ticket for Evolv here https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com
  7. Hello, It seems you have a battery connection issue. In mods utilizing 18650s, you have to ensure that you are getting a good connection in your battery sled. with moth flat top 18650s the plastic ring around the positive terminals sometimes interfere with connection. try tightening the connections by carefully squeezing the top and bottom of the mod together, this forces the connections to fit more tightly, and should fix your problem. If that doesn't work, another fix is, if possible, solder a small nub onto the positive side of the battery. This nub allows the positive terminals to fully make contact. I hope that helps. -Paul S.
