Halcyon assembly

I have a lost vape halycon that needs the board replaced and probably the 510. The board replacement is straight forward but as for the 510 does anyone know of a replacement I can source? The plastic board holder is in rough shape too but I can make it work hopefully. If anyone has disassembly pictures or tips I'd appreciate it

You may not find a DNA200 board or even if you do, the price won't be much different than a DNA250 anyway. And a DNA250 is really an updated DNA200. So if you have a choice, I'd go with the DNA250.

The 510? Not only is it a 510, but a squonk 510 at that. Boy, that is a tough one.

I actually  Have a stockpile of all different boards from the 40 up to the 250 in both color and non color. For a year or 2 straight I was surfing all of the groups on Facebook and reddit snatching up all the devices people had listed as broken which most of the time honestly the either had a dead lipo or a stuck button. So I have a pretty good stash of - of boards. The main issue I'm having is with the 510. Excuse the potato picture but the 510 I'm not exactly sure how to get out without tearing up the device . I'm sure if I can get this one out I can replace it with a different brand.

On my Lost Vape efusion duo there are hidden screws hidden under the non squonk panel side, and the Halcyon is probably the same. Once removed you should have easy access to all the components. I have used a blow dryer and a credit card to remove mine. If you take care it can be removed without damage.

Both stealthvape and modmaker are in the UK, and have numerous bf 510 connectors. A 200 or 250 board would be your easiest swap as the buttons will line up for the front panel

I just can't get the 510 off. Lol. I think I'm going to end up using a cutting wheel and chopping off the locking nut holding the 510 in. Unless anyone has batter ideas?

You guys have the board actually actually mounted different than the effusion. Is it's mounted through the front with a front which screws into the fronthe frame and all screws you can access by removing the front button plate. Removing that backside panel you are Talking about I don't think would give me any more access than I already have

Then go for it your way

I pulled off the back panel as you suggested and on this device there is no screws back there. Since the board sits in the front it does not have the holder like the other lost vape products it products where the screws are covered by the sticker as you had mentioned.. Do you know the best way to remove this 510. It's in such a tight spot

No more ideas, sorry.

Have you disassembled any other Lost Vape devices? I have a few different ones here and they all pretty much have that same style of 510 with a weird locking nut so any recommendations on the type of tool I need to loosen it?

Did you remove that other panel?

I think I may have been misunderstanding what you was telling me. If you meant did I remove the Carbon fiber -like sticker on the backside, yes I did and removed all screws. It's really just the 510 that has me lost. I think I'm going to have to use a cut off wheel and cut it out then just hope the hole on the top is a industry standard size hole. Out of the couple dozen L. V products that I've owned over the years not once did the 510 ever fail
