Few questions about DNA 60 and DNA 25

1. Can the DNA 25 be connected to escribe?

2. Will the boards automatically regulate charging? I'd like to wire a micro USB connector to the board for charging without purchasing an addon board (out of stock).

Appreciate it. I looked at the spec sheet but didn't mention not being not compatible with Escribe so figured I'd ask haha. As for the 60, what would be the best way to go about onboard charging? Would buy the micro-usb adapter if there was any left in stock!
