Guy Nicolson Posted April 28, 2018 Report Posted April 28, 2018 I have run case thermals for this mod and Escribe suggests this It was left overnight to reach ambient temperature before running case thermals Internal resistance has been measured @ 0.005Ω New Turnigy nano-tech 2200mah 4S 25~50C Lipo Pack Any advice would be appreciated thanks
retird Posted April 28, 2018 Report Posted April 28, 2018 Was the battery only half charged before running Case Analyzer? And you entered the real room temp before starting Analyzer? Wonder if you could run Analyzer again with the case door off of the device and see what it returns.........
Guy Nicolson Posted April 28, 2018 Author Report Posted April 28, 2018 Hello Battery was @ 25% Temp reading taken from a thermometer in the room with an out probe positioned to give 2 readings Yes I will run it again with the door off Do you think it's the enclosure and lipo size?
Zaptear Posted April 29, 2018 Report Posted April 29, 2018 I get the same out of my n1 when I run the test

Guy Nicolson Posted April 30, 2018 Author Report Posted April 30, 2018 No suggestion from Escribe about the mods case static temperature rise this time It's been interesting
retird Posted April 30, 2018 Report Posted April 30, 2018 Yep, Evolv folks drop in and read..... at least two were here Saturday and/or Sunday........ and at least two this morning.... they are busy guys with many hats.... So you have questions about the Case Static Temperature Rise right? Both devices seem pretty consistent from your last run @ 18.4F and 18.25F And does the device not turn on after the Case Analyzer finishes on both of you guys devices or only on @Zaptear device? Anything else? Question: At what rate (current) does the device charge at when hooked up to your computers?
Zaptear Posted April 30, 2018 Report Posted April 30, 2018 I have to unplug and plug back into pc when don’t to get chip working agen it will fire just no screen but dose come back on after doing that and yes it will charge when pluged into pc
Guy Nicolson Posted April 30, 2018 Author Report Posted April 30, 2018 (edited) My device turns on after Case Analysis I still do not know why the first Analysis gave those numbers, maybe the new lipo reaching proper balanced state as cell 3 was not in line with 1,2 and 4 at first, It was balance when I ran the first analysis though 1 amp from my Macbook Nothing else thank you Edited April 30, 2018 by Guy Nicolson
Spector NS5 RD Posted May 2, 2018 Report Posted May 2, 2018 I would use the "with door om" test numbers, as that will be how you actually use the mod in real world scenarios. I plan on running Case Analyzer tonight myself. I will post screenshot results when finished.
