DNA 60 Small Screen - Display

Hi all,

I just received small screen 60's and the display is garbled.  I'm guessing it's something simple - like I just need to upload a specific display size or something via escribe.....but not quite sure.  Anyone?

When connected to escribe you can capture what the board is displaying on the Theme Designer Screen tab, IIRC just click capture on any screen.

If you are receiving DNA 60 boards directly from Evolv, they have the Big Screen firmware loaded onto them. You need to go to Tools->Apply Firmware and select the Small Screen firmware. (If you are producing them in quantity, Tools->Production Utility can help reduce the hassle.)

If you bought the device from a manufacturer, they ABSOLUTELY should have done this for you.

Not good for those making a mod without a USB connection or charger

i had a hard time finding this FW. it doesn't say anything about "small screen" in the actual SP file. even when connected to EScribe using the small screen option on the connect and download page, it had the LG screen FW. i had to just guess with the 3 SP's it listed, eventually i found it on the last try.
