storing a Dna device for a period of time without a battery.

is it an issue? i think i read somewhere it has an inbuilt battery for storing settings, I'm worried this one will drain completely..

OK. so maybe I'm confusing it all, and read a manual of a completely different electric device ( a toaster or something..)

so how come when i remove the battery and put a different one, it still remembers that I'm on stealth mode for example,
or the current time in some mods? (it writes on some chip?)
