Triade 250 and Therion 166 watt hours keep changing, problem.

Bought these two devices about a month back and the past week or two, something strange has been happening with the batteries meter. I first set them up for lg he2 3000 mah, which my Therion came out as 22.2 watt hours and Triade at 33.3 watt hours.

I have to manually keep changing the watt hours to get 100% battery on the device monitor otherwise it will show something like 79%(for example) until i change the watt hours then it will show 100%. Right now the Therion is 18.5 watt hours and the triade to 26.5 watt hours, know where near the calculated hours.

Both were brand new batteries bought with the mod and i don't understand why i have to keep changing watt hours to get 100%.

One or two times i have taken the batteries out of the external charger and the watt hours will be correct and go back to normal but then its constantly changing the next day.

Could i need a new external charger because it''s not charging the batteries correctly? ive had it for around 6 months and use it every day.

Any help would be much appreciated?

Have you verified with a meter that the batteries are 100% charged each time when you take them off the external charger?  Strange that both devices are showing the same inconsistency.... I assume you have brand new batteries for each device and do not interchange them between devices....

My external charger shows on the screen that all 5 batteries are 100% charged and charged to 4.21v just as it would if i charged via usb throught escribe.

If i take out the batteries and put them in my rx200 mod it will show 100% and likewise for with rx2/3 mod.

Im using a dual external charger for my therion and a 4 bay charger for my triade.

Truly confused. I've tried a hard reboot and re-applying the sevice packs for each mod.

Im thinking of buying a new external charger but what would be the point if my rx200 reads the batteries correctly.

"lg he2 3000 mah" Maybe HG2?

"my Therion came out as 22.2 watt hours and Triade at 33.3 watt hours." Where did you come up with these numbers? Are they from you running 'battery analyzer'.

"Right now the Therion is 18.5 watt hours and the triade to 26.5 watt hours, know where near the calculated hours." These values look alot more realistic.

I think your batteries and mod are fine.

If you got the 22.2 & 33.3 Wh values by running the calculator in Escribe, it tends to give a value higher than the actual Wh values of the batteries. I too have the same mods as you, Triade & Therion 166, & after running the battery analyzer, the Triade came back with 26.3 Wh & the Therion 16.7 Wh. Here are the .csv files that Escribe generated after running the battery analyzer on these mods...

Edit...Forgot to mention that the battery indicator on both of mine are pretty darn close!!  :thumb:

csv Therion 166 2 X LG_HG2.csv
csv Triade 3 X LG_HG2.csv
