I think you're right, tried multiple atomizers, so it must be a cheap 510 (just like everything ive experienced with my sdna75 is that they cut corners everyware so bad 510 is possibly the case, at least i got a triade dna250 coming, no dna250 forum though), im new to evolv chips and the community, ill leave other companies aside. Other than the fact that a manufacturer told me they cloned dna75 chip and call it dna 2.0 bad clone attempt (seller kept on insisting i buy a sample..nty) but still, not proffesional and i think that should be made known(i like how the chip verification works for dna tbh, even gives you board production date) I cant fix the spikr so it has to ve a cheap smy component, just like the bad casing...dunno why daniel praised it on tutorial its actually a bad 510.... or where else could they had messed up? Geekvape vt cigar nano and vapethink where all in same sdna range, having those wire presets got me into buying a bad mod i suppose...

Use escribe to put the old resistance locked on escribe, just dont lock with kanthal

Thats what i thought when i first got device, two days into using it i realized locking was a must the no locking is probably a kanthal coil thing. You have to lock it. Sure gona sell that junk anyways, ordered a red triade dna250. Back to topic as far as ive seen be it single strand guage or clapton ss. The resistance needs locking at room temp. Ir you wont have a consistent vape specially with the weather. Man just triend power mode for nano stock chip coil (was using rta) and well good its patentented because imo i prefer all the chinesse piwer modes, this one takes a bit to provide set power. Never seen that wismec ijoy elef kangkxin smok/kapoo innokin all provide straight power. I dont know why patent a bad power mode while the tc mode is kinda on par with fsk slice chip as long as u lock in tc (some moron kept insisting not to resulted in bad flavor and burnt wick, i knew it wouod happen from experience but new to dna chips) can't they fix this, don't mention the preheat in kanthal hole its an ijoy chip coil. Evolv should have preheat in no temp mode, wismec did it(althout they have no preheat on tc modes, its evic vt 60w style tc, theve kept it since that mod, don't blame em, mine was first sub ohm or tc kit it broke and was replaced on warranty (they improved the board second mod had 2 T's followed by number first had one T and showed old firmware version, feature was disabled on updated mods) 23w is 48w on kapoo mini. Still they all start firing at set wattage be it the exact one or not, there were plenty dna boards before dna40. And the power rwgulation is bad so far rms watts on fsk is best. Bit lagging before cheap chinesse chips is kinda something you don't expect from a company tjats supposed to be 'one of the best'

Dna40 powers off which kinda made me frustrated when i got my sdna75 and there was no power off like dna40. Already changed all profiles and dont have to see that portuguesse guy in my screen. His watts mode is ni200 wire, waste of material slot. Power mode and old tc(has preheat enabled aswell) are identical lol! Would be great to have the off option again, its probably pretty simple code too, just have to wait for evolv to release an official firmware. Still not completly confortable with the system so not messing with it. (Wismec firmware was a walk in the park to mod, studied electrical and computer engineering technology+psychology)

I actually found best consistent vape with dc ss316l clapton 26/32 with locking the resistance, use escribe to modify it, using the other profile unlocked then in morning fire and lock compare on escribe and what worked best was tweaking the last 2 points on escribe, always lock in tc or gunk will mess up the vape quality with inconsistent resistance. Tried the non locking and had to constantly change temperature. Don't have to do that when locking it. Btw managed ni80 tc accurate to ~2c as long as .000X is accurate, accurate to .00X ull get a 10c variation but not if you have the fourth number nailed. And yes, lock it. Vaporflask dna40 always got the ni200 resistace on point and kept it steady.

Dont forget to lock ohms at 20c. Then go on escribe the .000X number is crucial. Better than the chinesse chips having a hard time to .000 not fsk ohm slice .0000001atty resistance but as long as u have the 4th digit right it should work, works for me.

Its weird when not even the staff at vape shops uses dna devices. They all on rx series... it be nice if dna tead to .0000001atty ohms like fsk, then u can have tc kanthal... they both use cpus... fsk is just missing escribe like software. .. or dna a bettet cpu
