Do you think it would be advisable to go into the appropriate mode and re-adjust your battery to the appropriate amount. Such as my Triade with 3 VTC5's in series which are 3.7v 2600mah, which would be 7800mah 11.1v=86.58 wh. That would be correct, correct?

I am and I am finding that the more I get used to the way the DNA works the better I like it. I can even get a decent vape at lower temps like 405-410 and with the temp dominant feature it makes it so easy to change it's great. I was trying to make it work like the YiHi which is a lot more harsh and really jumps around in TC like 10 or 15 degrees on either side of the setting. This just holds it rock steady. Now that I know how this profile works with SS316L I might just turn the temp protect off. I don't need to see it. It's regulating so well.

Exactly right. I got to thinking about it and thats what it was it was turned off. Now it shows just like the others. I thought I has some super model for a minute. I kind of like it turned off.

It doesn't even flash when I just hold the fire button without vaping it it just stays right on between 413-416 never flashes once.

I also notice that the room temp is off don't know if that makes any diff it's about 71-72 in here.

You can see where I was running out of breath at the end of the puff but they look pretty good don't they?

I figured it out like I say I am new to this stuff. But as you can see they both hold the temp pretty close but the Lavabox smooths out even better then the Therion

I was using a setting of 415F and the watts were set to 25w

The first one is the Lavabox the next is the Therion

Well I did that but not sure how to get them from the folder I saved them in to this board. I used the snipping tool then saved them to a file in my Pictures folder. How do I get them to here.

Another thing I have noticed is I have a Therion and a Lavabox DNA75. I only use SS316L and I use the .csv file from SE on both. I have exactly the same settings on both which is 25w 420F. I only use a single coil so I use no preheat since it heats up immediately without it but the Lavabox will hold whatever temp I set it at without ever hitting Temp Protect but the Therion hits Temp Protect every couple of seconds which makes no sense to me. Why would it do that using the exact same settings and using v1.2SP3 on both. Am I missing something when I run Device Monitor they are both holding temp relatively stable. I am kind of new to the DNA but I love them coming from YiHi. For SS they seem way better to me. Oh I should add that my Triade DNA200 does just like the Therion with the same settings. Only the Lavabox doesn't hit Temp Protect. I know it's not a bad thing for it to do that but I'm just curious.

I am just wondering about something I read. When I looked for the Escribe for the DNA75 and thought I had found it I downloaded it and installed it. It is version 1.2SP3. I thought this was the right version because it came from Evolve. Now I am reading that it is experimental and I shouldn't be using it. Well I don't know whether to keep using it or not. It seems to work fine. I am using it on 2 DNA75's and 1 DNA200. I haven't had any problems should I roll my mods back somehow or what. Like I say I have had no problems. Also if this is experimental when Evolve releases the final version what should I do.

Thanks a lot Bill. Hey do you by any chance know which is the best 133 out there. I've been told the Kcigar Vt133 is really good also the Duo which I think I would be paying for stuff I would never use cause I probably would never change it over to the 200 mode. Pat

Also I notice a slight difference in the vape using the same profiles with the 200 and the 75. I like the 200 better which is my reason for thinking of getting a 133 which is the 200 board.

OK so I take it you have to go to the manufacturer mode to get to it. I just noticed that my 75 if I take a warm atty off and put it back on it seems to recognize it while the 200 if I do the same thing it doesn't. Yesterday my atty which is normally .45ohms was warm still and it asked me new Y or N for the atty which was .53ohms my 75 doesn't. I never lock my ohms just let the board do it's thing seems to work very well.

I had more. I am a convert from YiHi 10 of them. I sold 2 and got 2 more DNA's. I was judging DNA on the first one I had way back when Vapor Shark came out with the DNA40 with I think the first TC. I hated it and never went back. MY MISTAKE!! I think they are great. The YiHi is really good but IMO DNA has them beat by a long shot.

Well thanks guys for all the help but I discovered it was user error more or less. I was expecting it to act like a YiHi. I DL SE .csv file for SS316L made it temperature dominant and it works great. The temp is different then the YiHi but I think it is better then the YiHI. I like it so much I bought 2 more a Triade and a Lavabox75. Plan to get a couple more also. Thinking along the lines of a 133. I wish I would've believed people about how good these DNA boards actually are I would have saved a lot of money. I sold my SXmini Q's and bought a couple more DNA's

Isn't there a way to change how much of a difference there is in resistance before it asks the big question. I've notice that my Triade is more sensitive then my Therion DNA75. I would like to have my Therion act more like my Triade DNA200. I am becoming a big fan or the DNA. Too Bad YiHi you've lost a customer.

Well I must say I see what all the Broo Ha Ha is about with these chips and the software. There is a learning curve but once you get past that it works much better then the YiHi and less money. I am looking at getting more but I think I will go for the 200 since it is a more efficient chip with more battery power and even though I use it at around 25w the battery life should be great. I am definately a convert.

I was also having a major problem with SS316L. I found out that if I DL the .csv file from Steam Engine and replace the one from Lost Vapes with that also make it Temperature Dominant, I am getting a very good vape from my SS316L. The temp is different from what I would use my SX's at but I actually like it a lot better. I am really loving these DNA chips and the Escribe software. I am running my SS at 450F and it works great just letting the chip do its thing. Also I am using just a single coil and it is only taking between 10-15w to hold the temp so I changed the wattage to 25w and I got rid of the preheat which for my vaping works perfectly. I like this chip so much more then the YiHi now I want more but think I will get the 200 since it is more efficient and I can still run it like I do the 75. Battery life should be phenominal.

Nevermind I found it have to go to advanced and then it gives you th Mod tab. This software is not all that bad once you understand a little of how it works.

Well I got a new computer and when I downloaded escribe for some reason for the DNA75 it gave me v1.2. Now I notice there is no Mod tab and I wanted to reset my soft cell cutoff. Is there something I am missing?

I am just used to the SX using TCR .00092 at 420F but those settings on the DNA are very similar. On the SX it would probably burn the cotton.

We'll see if this works Nope something else I have to learn anyway the curves for the escribe SS316 and the SE SS316L elite are real good using 25w at 485F very smooth and that seems to be where I like the vape. Can't decide between those 2 they are pretty close. I am using a 6 wrap spaced 26awg SS316L at .45ohms. Just not used to using those kind of temps. the SS is from Temco.
