Well, I could fit a 2000 mah lipo instead of the 1050 lifepo4 currently, and skip the bf. I was trying to figure out a way to bf with a case I got for free from mouser but always 3mm short.

I want to put a second 510 bf in my same box since I have the room, will the dna200 read check atomizer if i parallel the 510 connections?

Well I ordered one of those resistors, whats best way to hook it up? I was thinking soldering 14g to the resistor then putting them into my atty.

24g is springy too even after pre-torch.

I wonder if the insulators in the atty would melt doing this? I have 24 kanthal which i could try around 1 ohm and 40w discharge, but that would only be 3 wraps on 1/2inch lol. I wonder if the ohm we test at has anything to do with accuracy of discharge? The one john linked is 1 ohm 100w.

That's the one I was looking at but wasn't sure if 100w would cut it if it's dumping at 200w. I hook up kanthal to that via atomizer?

I will try to get some kanthal but if the resistor is cheaper where do i buy it? I seem to have fixed the problem for now by letting it sit over 100% on the charger for a hour after changing the Wh calculator a few times. I am not sure if it will stay that way but I am also interested in seeing the curve for this type of battery as might help others that are thinking of Lifepo4 batteries.

1050mah 3s 9.9v lifepo4, set at 10.4 Wh via calculator, it was set to the default 8Wh before and was working but recently this battery jump has been happening so i used the Wh calculator. Since i got it, about 3 weeks ago it was fine till 2 days ago. KTMrider all cells are evenly balanced in the device monitor.

Mine drops 20% down out of nowhere and tried everything.

How do i do the curve? I figured out the charging screen settings was at 0%. The temp readings were perfect for room and mod and the battery % before when i first got it, must be a firmware change otherwise no idea.

I did the calculator Wh, still didnt help, just jumped from 70% to 26%. I also noticed i have the screen charging settings set different and they dont come up...

My chip started to act strangely by jumping from 92% to 65% and has been doing this behavior for the last few days. I just uploaded new firmware and software, and plugged in data for wh according to my battery spec. The balance is fine on batteries. Room temp and board temp seem way off too. Mabey I should try a hard reboot?

I would go with the 2200 battery as you vape at ^100 watts, but what temp do you have it set at or do you even use temp? I would surmise that if you have low temp around 380-400, the battery will last longer due to the scaling of watts to device. 1050 lifepo4 lasts me about a day. I hope some of this makes sense.

Nothin like some truck bed liner. I have a lot of room so I could switch to a large lipo if needed, running lifepo4 1050 atm.

I contacted the company and they said to cycle it a few times. The strange readings only happen when fully charged, so gonna cycle it 3 times to see if it changes.

After 1 1/2 hours, cell 1 -3.5, cell 2 -3.5 cell 3 -3.36. Strange that cell 3 never goes above 3.36. I think my solder is good on balance charger, not sure what could be going on other than cell 3 is bad? I did accidentally let it charge without changing it to lifepo4 in escribe for a short time.

Yes, they are pretty close within .12-.15 when running. The voltages I gave are idle, fully charged.

How close should all three batteries be, voltage wise, when fully charged? Mine read cell 1-3.36, cell 2-3.6, cell 3-3.35. Seems cell 2 charges more than the others. Lifepo4 battery.

My battery has 16 gauge xt30 female, could I use 18 gauge from board to xt30 male to connect to 16 gauge connector? Just making sure...

Thanks, I just wasnt sure how severe the tolerances were between the two chemistries of batteries. Now the only downside is the size of the lifepo but I plan on keeping the dna200 at home and using dna40 for mobile, so i can have a huge case. Im tempted to make a a123 26650 3s pack but my arms might get a workout just from vaping on the beast.
