  1. Yes, I totally forgot about this! That solved it, thanks!
  2. Haha, it happened again, jumped from 27% to 46%. That is the third time!
  3. So, I made myself a prototype. Or, I have two in the making, but wanted a huge mod for long lasting batterylife. Bought a china made battery from the local RC-store, and the smallest 3S they had was 2700mah. Huge thing. Anyway, I´ve been using this for the last 24hours to see how long it takes to drain it with my ADV tank, at 55w and 0.37ohms. Twice since last charge, it has juped from 30-something percent and up to over 50%. Seems like it never drains, but right now it stays like it should and the percent goes down. Why is this, is this a bug or does it re-read the cells after a certain amount of voltagedrop? Here is the brick side-byside with my Single 18650 SX350 60w and the dual SX350J 150w:
  4. Yeah, I thought that might be a firmware-thing, I have to print me some buttons, right now its a pain to play around with the mod. Another question, do I have to attach the tap to every single 18650 to get Battery Meter?
  5. Yep! I have changed the General>Settings>Temperature to Celcius, cant find any other options in EScribe to change this. I was just fooling around with the roomtemp/boardtemp, but it is showing F. But, I havent looked into the onboard menu yet. Im still in the process of learning here, got no experience with your boards before now! I like it alot so far!
  6. Well, its not that I dont trust the board or good batteries, but i dont trust "the user", there are so many ways to make mods go poof. And with a charging board, I loose a lot of space, or get at larger mod. I´ve been working with the SX350J for the last couple of months, very reliable, but a pain to assemble. Getting the DNA200 in the mail yesterday was fantastic, no glue or presoldered wires. Good job here eVolv! And the EScribe is great, but I cant find support for showing Celcius anywhere, except in temp settings. Not yet, this is just the prototype, I have to figure out how it will be assembled, mounting problems etc. Now I´m in the reseach part, and asking questions
  7. Are you planning to connect taps to the balancing connector in your build and using the auxilliary board from Evolv?[/QUOTE] No, because I´ll use the USB-port for firmware upgrades only. I dont trust USB-charging on 18650s.. But I am trying to figure out how i get the Battery Meter to work..
  8. Nice, that was what I thought, I have been testing the mod for a couple of hours now, works fine!
  9. lolerwaffles, cool to see more 3d printers out here. is it possible to get a peek inside? hand how did you get the battery meter to work?
  10. I did not have the update, lol, thanks macz! Anyway, it works with 18650s, but is it safe? Since there is no settings for it..?
  11. I got the June 30. update, hmm, might try to do an update here!
  12. So, I just got this chip and I´m making a prototype right now. But i wanted to use 18650s istead o LiPo, since all of my customers want long batterylife and the already use 18650s. Right now I can´t get the cell info as the LiPo provides, I´m not using USB for charging anyways. At first it didn´t work, but after changing to Mod>Power Supply it works, and I know it says to not use this with batteries. But it fires and it seems like it works. Any ideas here? And the display is flashing, cant find any settings for this and cant find the "error". Pics: Sorry for the Large phots and orientation, no time for editing here - The Foggin Sailor, Drammen, Norway.
