  1. Now I checked the battery and cell 2 and 3 are at 0v. How is it discharging when not in use? Thanks for advising the usb recovery but unless it is at 1v it cannot activate, I believe. So basically I believe the battery to be draining when not in use, but I am not sure what would cause a continuous discharge. Thanks.
  2. I will check. Before I put this new fullymax in I want to find out what is going on, or i am the most unlucky person buying batteries. Last battery was fullymax and cell 3 went to 0.00v and the others were in the range of 2.8 to 3v. Can I not use the balance connector if i have a separate charger? Thank you.
  3. I am on my 4th battery that has dropped below rechargable state. I switched from lifepo4 batteries to lipo fullymax 900. I leave the battery in my device and if not charged it drains one or two cells to 0.00v. Do I need to check the balance solders or anything else. Thanks.
  4. Ya, it is kinda funny. I got it back together but had to change the ground to a 22 awg wire instead of the gold screw and bracket. I did change the 510 to evolv 510 so if probably did come from the shotty oem 510. Never take things apart after a BBQ party lol. Thanks for your guys help, I really appreciate yall.
  5. I have the two bigger silver springs for the negatives. Not sure about this one.
  6. I cant remember where the where this wire solders onto the board. Please help. Im gessing somwhere on the tap balancer.
  7. Thanks, I had to sand my hex head down but its fine now.
  8. How snug should the contact pin go into the insulator? Mine i really have to press hard to get it in there.
  9. I feel silly asking but there are a lot of parts im not use to seeing with 510 connector and I dont want to mess it up. How do i put this together? http://www.protovapor.com/product/evolv-510-connector/
  10. I believe for my lifepo4 battery or a bug in software I have to change the soft voltage cutoff and upload settings for it to work correctly. I want to try battery analyzer, as I am messing with the curve but afraid of frying something and the meter for lifepo4 is a crapshoot anyhow due to how the battery acts.
  11. had to wait for it to charge to 1.01 v at 0.015a current then perform usb recovery. Strange, when i set cell cutoff to 3.2 it worked with a check battery msg. My other battery is 0.00v on all 3 cells and seems not to charge at all.
  12. I have bought two batteries now and the board will drain both too low. Right now cell 1 - 1.9v, cell 2 - .96v, cell 3 - 1.98v. I have set the cell cutoff to 2.7 but the board seems to ignore this. Any help would be appreciated as I have no idea what is going on because it happened with two batteries. The batteries will work fine for a few days to weeks then drain way below. So now two batteries are garbage because the board or can i salvage them with a external charger?
  13. I have a 9.9v 1050 lifepo4 which is new and only cycled 2 times. I left it for a week and mabey the button got depressed but I hooked it up to charge and it wont charge and device monitor says pack is at 4.7v.... I had the soft cell cutoff at 2.7 so I do not see how this is possible without the board malfunctioning.
  14. The battery analyzer wont work for me ,, not sure just keeps saying waiting for battery to be fully charged. I just recieved a new battery from the company but seems everything is still the same as far as balancing issues. Mabey they just rewrapped my battery or I need to take part my dna to see if things are kosher with the solder. Or mabey lifepo4 just sucks and i need to buy a lipo. BTW what lifepo4 do you have, without being able to use analyzer the Wh make a difference with how it acts, im running 1050 maxamps 9.9v.
  15. Sad to hear blueridgedog, but thanks for letting us know. I would try it with mine but having my battery replaced.
  16. I would buy the 510 connector just to check it out. How is it compared with the fdv v4?
  17. Liquid electrical tape could work around it also.
  18. I just checked device monitor when screen read 100% charged it it was at 3.3 v when its suppose to be 3.6. I am not sure if board is fried but things have fallen apart.
  19. I was thinking the same thing blue, but how did they come up with the discharge for lifepo4 in escribe? I might just have to deal with the battery meter going crazy. I looked at your hyperion squonk, looks nice, do you know if hyperion lifepo4 "transmitter" batteries work the same as a regular lifepo4?
  20. Two of my cells get to 3.6 then the last one is usually around 3.4 and escribe/dna200 chip cuts the current to about 0.138 a charging the last one slowly, although the battery meter says 100% and so does the Wh in device monitor. Also my battery was full when I tried to analyze it and says waiting for battery to be fully charged when I try to start it. Using same 1050mah 9.9 lifepo4.
  21. I use a machine screw #6 which is 3.5mm and it helps to give you perfect spaced coils. I triple twist 32gauge and 9 to 10 wraps for each coil for dual coils around .1 ohms.
  22. Tried to run battery analyzer but tells me waiting to be fully charged when it is fully charged. Any thoughts?
