I stopped at a vape shop that I go to occasionally to show the owner how to use the new firmware and we had that problem (maybe). What solved it was to add the various materials. It was as if there was nothing to change to, it fixed it.Asterr said:You're right, I didn't state it clearly. I was in a hurry.
Escribe works perfectly - it's just the mod. I can change between Stealth - Normal, I can lock ohms, I can lock Wattage, etc etc.
It's just that after I lock it and press either - or + twice, it just shows me my locked screen, and nothing else. "Menu" where I can browse profiles just doesn't appear at all.
Edit: Let me add a bit more to this. In this situation we took a brand new Hana 200 from the display case and applied the beta firmware, there were no profiles previously set up
Oh, never mind...... it was materials that we couldn't change as they were all nickel. DUH -

Problem solved, reboot the mod then plug in usb cable...done...
I'm just a bit curious as to how you rebooted the mod, did you disconnect the battery and reconnect it or something else?
Very glad to hear that you were successful btw. -

scroll down to 1.0.39, just below the firmware link -
With the fire button locked (5 clicks) hold all three buttons down at once (about a second) then change material using up or down button a select by hitting the fire button

Juice is able to conduct small amounts of current, I had juice under the balance plug on the board once and it slowly drained cell #3. I cleaned mine off in that area with no clean flux and a few bursts of canned PC duster spray.

Instead of waiting here for an answer from Evolv submit a ticket on it and you will get a timely answer.

You can get them (various) from Steamengine, add them to EScribe then add them to the mod and upload.

I found it easier to remove all the existing profile entries and start fresh after updating to the firmware that has the materials tab than to try to correct them.

Not many folks talking about SS 430, perhaps cause they have no problems with it. If only it was easy to get in 24 and 26 gauge. I twist my 28 gauge to mimic 26.

The 510 socket is a bit loose without an atomizer screw in, maybe that.

I'm not to sure what to make of the mod resistance, if one of mine come up with a figure like 0.025? I'd be tearing it down to find the problem. Isn't that about what he listed for the Hcigar 200 as well?Jace said:Panzer settings from djlsbvapes.com

As far as I know it has always shown the value for Ni200 till you enter something else in the box, note that it is highlighted.
Edit: I see it now....DUH
It appears one is the TCR and the other the curve for Ni200, but nothing changes till you make it happen. -
The Hcigar replacement battery is in stock here:NickyGiaccone said:Are the most commonly recommended upgrade packs suitable for somebody who can't soder or anything? I want to safely unplug the wires, remove the pack, and replace it. Then simply screw it back together. I'm looking for 40C and 1100mAh if it fits nicely, otherwise I'd insist on a 1400mAh or greater pack. I have an Hcigar VT 200 and word has it the official upgrade pack is out of production. just my luck...as soon as I get it too. 40c is a must. I paid for power and sacrificed mAh and think if these option are available, I'm into it. If there's a better DNA 200 mod under 180 bucks or so, with a perfectly fitting battery pack, let me know because I want more amperage. Thanks.

Am I correct in thinking it will do voltage step up as well as down?
Just thinking out loud I guess. LOL -
It offers a way to tell it to just "go ahead and install it" does it not?
Don't worry
It was not submitted to MS to be certified (and too late now to do so, no more work on XP by MS)
Oh I missed it, I was thinking install, still should be able to download, perhaps try a different browser if the option to continue is not present. -
Does the mod appear to work properly otherwise?
-
I'm afraid I can't be much help but I'm thinking that you mean that you checked the voltage on each cell on the balance connector with a meter, is that correct?
Did this board by chance get juice leaked on the bottom of the board at the balance connector? -
Here's another choice (no it's more than $1), they will handle the board warranty with Evolv.

For Evolv's RMA start here:NathanG said:Whats an RMA. Ive saved the setting etc and restored as per previous post but nothing. Still the same.
http://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add
RMA= sending back to manufacturer for fixing. (return merchandise authorization)
I doubt if Wismec will assist you, perhaps the vendor where you bought it will help. -
for the profile that you are going to use turn the temperatue off in EScribe.
Or turn temperature off from the mod, it's next setting after 600F. -
Here's a link were I compared a lipo with 18650's, both packs were at 12.6 volts at firing.

Might even re-flash the firmware too.
