Now that's interesting :D Glad you solved it, though.

I think it will help to solve the problem - everytime I screw in a new atomizer (different coils of course), it asks me if it's a new coil. Like in TC. "New Coil? + Yes - No". It started happening exactly when I couldn't change profiles in mod.

Btw, lemme try adding materials. Maybe it will solve it.

Edit: Nope, didn't help at all.

Something to consider might be to save your battery profile, copy down your case settings, screen setting, ect on paper and restore default settings with a hard reboot in the end. Then add everything back. I'm pretty much saying what I would do but not at all sure if it will solve it for you, can't see it hurting anything though as long as you keep all the settings.
Might even re-flash the firmware too.

    You're right, I didn't state it clearly. I was in a hurry.

Escribe works perfectly - it's just the mod. I can change between Stealth - Normal, I can lock ohms, I can lock Wattage, etc etc.
It's just that after I lock it and press either - or + twice, it just shows me my locked screen, and nothing else. "Menu" where I can browse profiles just doesn't appear at all.

I stopped at a vape shop that I go to occasionally to show the owner how to use the new firmware and we had that problem (maybe). What solved it was to add the various materials. It was as if there was nothing to change to, it fixed it.
Edit: Let me add a bit more to this. In this situation we took a brand new Hana 200 from the display case and applied the beta firmware, there were no profiles previously set up
Oh, never mind...... it was materials that we couldn't change as they were all nickel. DUH

    Panzer settings from djlsbvapes.com
    Battery:

    Capacity: 15,85

    Electrical:

    Mod Resistance: 0,025

    Thermal:

    Case Cooling Time Constant: 460,91

    Case Heating Time Constant: 203,11

Case USB Charge Temperature Rise: 11,75

                                                          14,12

    Minimum Ambient Temperature: -20

    Maximum Ambient Temperature: 110

I'm not to sure what to make of the mod resistance, if one of mine come up with a figure like 0.025? I'd be tearing it down to find the problem. Isn't that about what he listed for the Hcigar 200 as well?

Are the most commonly recommended upgrade packs suitable for somebody who can't soder or anything? I want to safely unplug the wires, remove the pack, and replace it. Then simply screw it back together. I'm looking for 40C and 1100mAh if it fits nicely, otherwise I'd insist on a 1400mAh or greater pack. I have an Hcigar VT 200 and word has it the official upgrade pack is out of production. just my luck...as soon as I get it too. 40c is a must. I paid for power and sacrificed mAh and think if these option are available, I'm into it. If there's a better DNA 200 mod under 180 bucks or so, with a perfectly fitting battery pack, let me know because I want more amperage. Thanks.

The Hcigar replacement battery is in stock here:

Whats an RMA. Ive saved the setting etc and restored as per previous post but nothing. Still the same.

    For Evolv's RMA start here:
    http://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add
RMA= sending back to manufacturer for fixing. (return merchandise authorization)
I doubt if Wismec will assist you, perhaps the vendor where you bought it will help.
