You might get what you need from here:
http://www.steam-engine.org/wirewiz.asp
select your wire type from the drop down list and hit the DNA200 tab to download the CSV. Do this with any browser except Internet Explorer. -
Among other things I seemed to have missed the fact that Hcigar used a XT30 instead of the XT60 which comes on the Turnigy 1300.
-
I suspect it will go in as if it was made for it. I had to shorten the power wires on the one I installed in a Vapecige box, the picture of the Hcgar battery shows pretty long wires so I think it will fit right in. Let us known how it went.

I would image that it's easy enough to cut the legs off by over tightening the grub screws in the posts but them not being tight enough is going to cause problems like you describe. It may be else where but it sounds like a connection issue.
I just about never use the hex key that comes with an atty, I have better ones. -
I see that is as it should beBillW50 said:
Two 18650 charged to 4.09v
GND = 0v
Pin 1 = 4.09v
Pin 2 = 8.18v
Pin 3 = 8.18v
No batteries on USB power only
GND = 0v
Pin 1 = 0v
Pin 2 = 4.83v
Pin 3 = 4.83v
Scoped it and yes, it is a flat DC level. -
I have done a hard reboot a number of times, I'm under the impression that the settings it keeps is the cold ohms from whatever atty was on it (soft). Yes/no? (plus all the other settings that are kept on a soft or hard reboot)

Are you able to measure the voltage off the pads on the board that the balance connector attaches? Or at the balance connector. I assuming you made sure it's plugged on there good.BillW50 said:Ok, I think we have a bug that is toasting DNA200s. Getting the puff counter to screw up in wattage mode, it also messed up the puff counter in TC too. Not only does it count back for the reset puffs (what the screen displays), but also the total puff counter in the Device Monitor.
Trying to fix the puff counter, I did.
1) Reinstall firmware (no help)
2) Download from device then upload back (no help)
3) Soft Reboot (no help)
4) Hard Reboot - Here caused cell 1 to read zero volts. Error message says check battery when fired (both batteries are 3.65v with multimeter - swapped with two cells which tested as 4.16v each - no help)
5) Restore Defaults (no help)
6) Tried Soft and then Hard Reboot again (no help)
7) Tried reinstall firmware (no help)
8) Fires if power supply selected on 3.65v batteries
Is that Hard Reboot sometimes causing the DNA200 to fail reading the cell voltages correctly? -
I have a Hotcig DX200 here, 3 cell, it does the same thing. I thought it was maybe because I turned temp off with the up/down buttons so I selected a profile with it set to "off".....same thing.
I have to glue one of the magnets back in now....LOL -
Red, I do the same to all but Ti

My Bad.....
After looking at the post some more and checking GingerVapes I think it very well is a 3 cell.
My bad, I should have ask him when I had the chance. -

Look at your cell #3. Unplug the battery, or at least the JST connector and manually measure the cells.
If cell #3 is truly 0.8v then replace the battery.
If cell #3 is more/less normal then RMA the board.
While battery is out check the fuse.
I hade one very similar, and the battery worked in another mod just fine. Mine looked like this and fuse was good, I RMAd the bard.
I was thinking it was a 2 cell mod that the OP has. -
At this time there are only one member beside you and I, I would guess that the fuse has blown.
I'm going to delete 3 of your other posts as they say the same thing. Just be patient, more members with technical knowledge will be on soon. -

You might give this a try:Swainesmatee said:escribe install stalls out when it says i need microsoft .net 4 to be installed, and while creating a client profile it stalls.
Same thing on both computers.
Is it compatible with windows 7?
Also I dropped my VT75 and it dented my positive post on my battery and bent the c frame outward, landed drip tip first.

Are you installing .net 4 from the EScribe installation or from MS? Also what OS are you using? On my Win 7 machines it works faster than 10.
Your other post answered my questions. -
With 2 cells the DNA200 board has an output of 133 watts.

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking? My mod is the VTbox 200 if that's your question and are these batteries that you recommend for that mod?
Yes
The Turnigy is the one I recommend, do you solder OK?
Just in case your not already aware of it, the original battery is labeled 1800 mah but it is more like around 1250 mah on a good day. -
What brand mod is this, some how I was thinking it was a Vapecige Vtbox200 and was posting where to get the battery but I must be in the wrong thread.....LOL (oh from member's profile)
Here is the one that I put in Vapecige Vtbox200, I had to shorten the power wires considerably and remove the XT60 and add a T plug:
https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=59112
This one should work also:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lion-Power-11-1V-1500Mah-40C-MAX-60C-3S-Lipo-Battery-For-RC-Car-Helicopter-US-/111470192309
Juice on/in/under the balance plug was the cause for mine (#3 cell) to get unbalanced, it slowly drained when just sitting. I caught it right away so it never hurt the battery. -
-
I was going to re-wire mine but I came to the conclusion that most of the battery sag was more a result of the 18650 batteries so I skipped the Idea. Others report that there was difficulty getting the sled to fit back in place with larger wire.
On the blocks, what are the readings from them using a ohm meter. I believe you could just bridge the spots where they connect by soldering a piece of wire in their place.
You might want to wait for someone to verify what I just said about the little blocks before doing it. -

My last 200 came from a reputable place and the mod resistance was set to 0.02 ohms, they must have copied DJLsb's figures or something.
I checked it myself and got 0.004. Just saying.
