From Kesters web site: (copied and pasted)
951 Soldering Flux
Kester 951 is a zero-halogen, non-rosin flux designed for wave soldering, conventional and surface mount circuit board assemblies. The extremely low solids content (2.0%) and nature of the activator system results in practically no residue left on the assembly after soldering. Boards are dry and cosmetically clean as they exit the wave solder machine. There are no residues to interfere with electrical testing. 951 exhibits improved soldering performance to minimize solder bridges (shorts) and excessive solder defects. This flux is suitable for automotive, computer, telecommunications and other applications where reliability considerations are critical. The surface insulation resistance on soldered boards is higher than that provided by typical water-soluble fluxes. 951 contains a corrosion inhibitor such that no corrosion products are formed when bare copper surfaces are exposed to humid environments.

For the DNA250 the default (and maximum) is 28 amps for both battery input settings.

It does not power at all on USB only.
Thanks -
Here's my question, will it light up the screen by USB power only.....just curious?
-
When one of mine was doing that it was because I had juice trapped between the balance connector and board.
-
Best I can tell, just checked a few of mine, is that it still doesn't function properly. EScribe 1.2 SP5.2 on my computer has firmware for 200/250 dated 12-22-2016. Still shows "?"
-
Have you tried rebooting the device? Either by removing battery or through Escribe?
-
16.65 watt hours with soft cell cutoff of 3.09 volts and the latest recommended firmware should get you back in order.
Battery type: Lithium Polymer, 3 cell -
Yes you can flash to older firmware. If it's not within your Escribe you may have to install an older version of Escribe to get the older firmware. I'm not thinking it will change anything charging wise but can't hurt to try.
-
The maximum charge (amperage) with a 200 connected with a data path shouldn't exceed 0.5 amps. Something wrong with the board in my opinion.

The best place for your answer is here:

Rotating the cells of the pack when in a series serves no purpose like it would if they were in a parallel, if they work best in a particular order you might consider installing them that way every time.

Darn that's a lot of text, must be a better way...........but it does work. -
If you feel like affixing a jumper wire from the output and ground for the 510 on the board and use atomizer analyzer in Escribe that will narrow down to whether it's a problem with the board or not. Kind of extreme perhaps but effective.
-
Well I think I missed part of your post, how about how well the body of the 510 grounds to the case....any oxidation?
-
check the 3 screws holding the board in the case to make sure they are not loose, that's the ground for the 510.
-
-
It would pertain to all cell types.
To be more clear perhaps, two (same) cells whether connected in a series or parallel would have the same watt hours when paired.

Tell us more please, what was it?
-
-
Escribe will show what the voltage of the cells are under load. It sounds as if the board is not getting good power. Might be the batteries, might be bad connection(ect.) of battery contacts to battery. Might be bad solder joint somewhere between batteries and board.
-
The curve only makes the battery gauge more accurate, it doesn't change battery performance
-
Have you tried logging off then back on?
