  1. If this is truly just a black and white DNA60, it's the first one I'm hearing about. If it's a color 60 let me know.

For the power drops, are they intermittent? What does the voltage drop look like when taking a puff on a full battery? Does it happen with all batteries? Do a Device Monitor screenshot like shown, with only those same checkboxes enabled. Hover your mouse over the lowest point of the black voltage line, click mouse to draw the black vertical line, and post here.

There are no vendor specific limitations on any board.
There are no settings for Auto-lock or click counts on a black and white DNA60
Does the fact that it locks mid-puff confirm a mechanical failure of the fire button (ghost clicking)? <- No idea

..... happens on the tbe one mod with both.

Sounds like positive pin is not making a good connection on the mod. Check if the mod 510 still can depress and spring back. Or even try an atty with a longer connection.

Occasionally (unintentionally)  I 'yes' the changes-

9 times out of 10 you should be answering yes, that's what your mod reads right now.

I've manually set the resistance as per device monitor  and locked in 0.263..

9 times out of 10 you should not do this. It does nothing in power/watts mode. Every time you push that fire button your mod reads the current resistance.

  3. Start escribe, go to 'About'. Click the logo 7 times and it will flash/disappear. Those fields will now be unlocked. I do NOT suggest you start editing those fields, and you're on your own.

    • Thanks 1
  4. Components have changed in the past based on availability or suppliers, same for screens. In escribe 'General' ->'get information' will give more details. I have NO opinion on its authenticity.

  5. Sure. Replay works best with a proper TC material like SS.

You are quite lucky to get a 'replay ready' with N70. You must use enough watts or long puff for the mod to be able to capture the puff. I will assume the 4th that does not show 'replay ready' is your kanthal coil with the flattest/lowest change in resistance.

The charger you used, what does it say on the label for voltage and current?

Or did you charge via your PC? Was there a pod in your mod when you created the screenshot? There is newer firmware, can you update to that and do one last screenshot (low chance, and you should contact OXVA for repair or replacement)

    Thank you for that screenshot.

#1. My Replay mode won't work, or I don't know how to use it. Attached is a picture of my current settings. With "puff saved, playing" unchecked, if I do a 3s fire, I see "Save Puff" pop up. If I select it, it says "Cancel". From here, I don't want to cancel. but I want to fire a replay. So I click fire, and it does NOT fire for 3s. Does replay just limit the wattage or what? I thought it replayed the entire previous fire: wattage and duration.

OK, so you see from the 'save' it's what you want to do, and the 'cancel' is when you want to stop. At that point (after you clicked save) if you clicked 'connect and download' you'd see 'Puff Saved, Playing' has been enabled by YOUR MOD. Replay ONLY captures what your last puff tasted/heated. Nothing to do with duration at all. For wattage and duration you want 'session mode'

#2 I repeat the same as above, except I check the box for "puff saved, playing" (uploaded it to the mod, of course), and nothing else changes. No display screen difference, no replay function difference.

Yup. At most you can uncheck that, otherwise there is no 'puff' for it to recreate. For the third time 'Your mod toggles that 'playing' on and off.

IDK, maybe I just have a faulty chip or I don't understand how to use this software

Not a faulty chip, there are YT videos on how to use. What training video did you find? There never was one (by evolv) for any color mod. On YT all 75C/100C/250C's operate the same. Or search here for more info on session mode.
