Glad I mentioned that in the beginning, with a link even. And, you're welcome.

  3. @SmokeyX "..... including resistance lock, which is a massive thing if you use TC on stainless steel coils. "
Actually it has NEVER been promoted or required with any DNA mod (unlike other brands). If your coil has been prepared properly (no hotspots, secured, solid 510) you should not need to ever lock the resistance.

    Another question :
I vaping with a single wire SS3165L coil, is it normal that I have temperature variations?

I'll answer, but only this time. You should try to only post theme specific questions here.
Yes. Just as the mod starts at 0 watts on its way to its set power level, the coil starts heating towards it's limit.

There is only Power and Preheat Power, both should be changeable in every theme. There is no concept of a holding power in TC. If you don't want your set Power to drop, you need to NOT hit the temp you set.

Yes, in "temperature control" mode, the desired temperature is set, but if the holding watts are too small in the profile, the desired temperature cannot be reached.

That's not the 'desired' temp. That's the max temp. A limit that your coil should not exceed.

In my SS316L profile I had: power 20 watts; Temp 200° and boost 70 watts, the box didn't want to go up to 200° with 20 watts, with the Escrib software I modified the 20 watts to 55 watts and the box went up to the right temperature.

That's how it works. I hope that 200° was °C.

  6. IMHO this theme still reigns supreme, right down to the hidden lock feature from the regular/main screen. Or how about the watts shown when in Replay mode (nope not what you're thinking). Nothing but Gold. Those special touches aren't talked about at all really, but once you see/use them you'll come to understand.

It's just a pity that I couldn't add this as another 5 star review after 7 months and numerous updates.

A wallpaper pack is a good idea however considering the highlight colors differ from one background to another

Hey, that could be a grouping right there. 3 or more in a grouping that changing the wallpaper, or selecting from the 3 choices will all look good.

I would suggest gwyar's theme to look at, but I don't want to confuse you. But if you look at any one of the 'clean colors' themes, he selectively shows how to hide or show accurate batteries. You can do that for both the label name and the field. Or read this post of his (shortlink) https://tinyurl.com/yjrh6b6c

Just trying to be helpful. :)

  8. You could create a wallpaper pack with a sample of the different backgrounds shown without any text and some directions on how easy to swap from one background to another. Or even 3 wallpapers per theme and tell 'em to choose one? I think I'm pretty close to done having to approve all these for a few days.

Edit: Or just put some of these as 'updates' to originals. Like you had a Thelema theme with a green DNA strand. Nothing was Thelema specific, but now you have a Concept 2, same DNA strand ....... that could easily just be an update, and requires no approval :)

granted one wouldn't use the power bank on a single 18650 or 21700 mod as the DNA 75C can't provide this function that's why you can't select it on those devices

Then don't show it. Use a conditional. Same for the batteries. The functionality is already there.

the regulated ... Hog device is listed as a DNA 400c device

    Ummmm, not quite right.
    #marketing

That's just the name of the Mod.
I be counting 4, yes four times they name the board/chipset.

"featuring the DNA250c chipset with battery configuration of 4×18650 set in series"
"all thanks to the Evolve DNA250c chipset that is being used.""
"The Evolve DNA250c is a power regulation board created by Evolve"
    "DNA 250C Chipset"

I stand by my initial post. I found your comment extremely rude and somewhat harrassing.

    Welcome 👋

  10. "Probably someone trying to cover their tracks by spamming. I'm not doing this."

There's a whole public thread you're welcome to post in, if you want to engage in a respectful conversation. We moderators will be quick on the trigger finger to delete/modify/hide any posts if it starts to get out of hand. I have not blamed anyone. A mere comment in a theme gets buried and overlooked too easily.
