About This File

Strongly recommend updating to this new version 2.0.0 as it adds new features.

A material colored theme for DNA75c and DNA250c. Customization options far beyond what's featured in the default Evolv theme.

ocean-2.0.0.thumb.jpg.eb6dac389c63337024c725c3aa83481c.jpg

Notes:

  • You can press the fire button to exit out of a screen that doesn't have a back button.
  • LED colors styled to the theme.
  • When you change the material of a profile (eg. from Watts to SS316L) you won't have the appropriate toggles (eg. Temp Control, Replay)  activated right away. You need to back out of the Atomizer Profile screen, fire the mod and go back into the Atomizer Profile screen. This is an Evolv/Theme Designer issue.
  • If you have temp control enabled, you can switch positions of the power and temperature field on the main screen by enabling "Big Temp" in Menu -> Settings
  • In the Atomizer Profile screen you can adjust the Pre-heat temperature either via a Punch gauge or via a Temperature field. You can switch between them with the new toggle next to the Pre-heat label.

What's New in Version 2.0.0   See changelog

Released

This one is a pretty big update that adds some new features. I strongly recommend updating.

  • Lock Screen
    • Various USB connection statuses, like Charging/Discharging/USB Data  are now displayed along with charging current where applicable.
    • When your battery level is below 30% the battery percentage field will change color from white to pale red. It'll also display the current battery pack voltage.
  • Atomizer Profile Screen
    • You can now enable/disable Temp Control and Replay right from the Atomizer Profile screen, along with Pre-heat and Boost. Other than defining materials you don't really need to Escribe to edit your profiles anymore.
    • You can adjust the Pre-heat temperature either via a Punch gauge or via a Temperature field. You can switch between them with the new toggle next to the Pre-heat label.
    • Atomizer lock feature is now available in all types of profiles. Previously it was only available in TC profiles. This decision was made because EScribe lets you lock resistance in any profile, and sometimes it's necessary to lock the resistance in mods with a spotty 510 connection.
    • Note: When you change the material of a profile (eg. from Watts to SS316L) you won't have the appropriate toggles (eg. Temp Control, Replay)  activated right away. You need to back out of the Atomizer Profile screen, fire the mod and go back into the Atomizer Profile screen. This is an Evolv/Theme Designer issue.
  • Previously the Power bank screen had some toggles incorrectly set as read only. They're fixed now. A red toggle status is read only, yellow is enabled and blank with a white outline means disabled.
  • The theme now has a slightly better contrast. I'll continue to work on this in the future.
  • Various minor tweaks.

What's New in Version 1.1.2

ocean-1.1.2.jpg.4f4c382dd492f8d4cda1909caf7ec2ee.jpg

  • You can now interchange the temperature and power field on the main screen. Go to Menu > Settings and enable "Big Temp"
  •  Resistance wasn't updating to show the current resistance as you fire. It's fixed now.

What's New in Version 1.1.1

  • Removed all instances of temp adjustment on replay profiles.
  • On replay profiles the middle right field on the main screen now shows puff time on replay profiles until you hit save.

What's New in Version 1.1.0

DNA75c now supports replay!

DNA75c now supports replay with the new international firmware 1.1 SP33.2 INT. As such I no longer need to maintain two separate versions of the theme. You can flash the same Material-ish Ocean 1.1.0 theme file on both DNA250c and DNA75c.

You have to have 1.1 SP33.2 INT firmware flashed on your DNA75c device for this theme to work.

  • Made a few compatibility related tweaks.
  • Tweaked how replay looks.
  • Resistance lock status icons have been changed once again. Resistance locking from the atomizer screen now functions similar to the lock icons in the Gauges theme. Sorry to have made so many changes to this.
  • Last puff and Live Puff screens now shows the puff counter.
  • Previously the main screen linked to the Live Puff screen. Now it links to the Last Puff screen.

Looks like you can just flash the DNA250c version of the theme on a DNA75c with the new 1.1 SP33.2 INT firmware.

That is just fantastic! I don't need to maintain two versions of every theme anymore :DD

I'll remove the DNA75c versions tonight, and tweak the few minor things I had planned.

It does indeed work.

Menu is showing items that don't apply to the 75c, but they have no effect either, so no problem. I tried 'Power Bank'

Yeah no powerbank for us :P. I'll update the material themes tonight to hide powerbank among other fixes. Just updated Gauges.

Hey @ShowerHead just pushed an update. It should gray out the Power Bank link in DNA75c. It has a few other tweaks to replay as well.

I'd recommend everyone to update to this version.

It did indeed gray out the Power Bank on my 75c.
Thank you for all your efforts, I really love the theme.

Sir Timmy, your themes have been my go-to for some time now. First gauges and then this one. I've heavily modified both, but I would still be searching if you hadn't created these in the first place. Just wanted to say thanks and keep up the great work!

Any chance of putting the version number into the comments that show in Theme Designer?
Currently, there is no way I see to determine which version, except to load the latest onto my devices.

Vaping great and looking good doing it!

You can check the "About" screen for the version number of the theme.  The version number is also on the filename.

I'm not sure how to add comments in the Theme Designer. Only place I can see is the credits tab.

Hi Timmy !

I really like this theme, it is easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. The only thing that bothers me is that I only use TC and the most important info in the firing screen is the current temp. I was wondering if you could make a variant of the theme with the temp at the place where the wattage is right now and vice versa.

Thank you for this great theme !

Here's my version. I also use TC only. It's heavily modified so ask away if anything doesn't make sense :)

Hitting the battery % goes to Last Puff, the lock shows ohm lock but clicking it locks the device. If it can Replay the top right icon turns green (hit it to save puff). The bar under Replay Active is the warmth when it's playing. Otherwise it's mostly the same-ish.

Another great theme, and superb work!  Running this theme on my Mirage DNA75C and it is definitely easier to see in bright sunlight as compared to Gauges.

Had to make a few mods for matchy matchy with the resin on my mod, and a few additions (Dark UI and the Replay Warmth meter from Gauges shown below).

Hello, thank you for making this theme, I really like this theme very much. But, for some reason, everytime I changed my batteries, the replay mode got messed up, if I insist using the same setting (although I didn't change my RTA), the vape got colder so I have to re-set all over again to get to where I was. FYI, I'm using SS 316 coil & my batteries are 3 HG2's & 3 VTC6's, I used it interchangeably. Is this the theme's fault of the 250C's fault? I haven't try other themes though, as I really like this theme.
