help Centaurus DNA 250c "Cant figure out the device version"

Hello Guys,

i have the problem that my Centaurus DNA 250c, is not recognized by EScribe. He just tells me "Cant figure out the device version". Can anyone help me at this problem?

Have you tried another cable? Might be caused by dirty USB port on mod, lint from pocket, ect.

Yes, I have tried many different cables, but unfortunately he always tells me the same thing

Start escribe, under Help - About. Post screenshot.

What more have you already tried?

I have already tried using older versions of Escrible.
I tried resetting the mod and I tried many cables but with each one it shows the same thing.

OK. Write what the two lines say directly above the OK line. Bottom right hand corner.

What gives you an error message? And what is that error message.

Its the Version:

Version: 2.0 SP50

Date: 2022-12-09

 

In the error message it says:
Sorry, an unknown server error occurred when uploading this file

Try different ports on your PC. Ideally NOT through any sort of hub, so directly in.

Oh my god, am I a complete idiot, I actually used a USB hub the whole time and thought to myself why it doesn't work, but now that I've connected the cable directly to the PC everything works.

You're welcome. Some hubs are better than others, sometimes it could just be different ports on a hub. It's not you, it's them.
