shehabismail Posted August 3, 2019 Report Posted August 3, 2019 Hello, I am using a clapton ss316L from advanced vape supply. When I am on replay mode, the first puff i like then i click save puff, then when i fire again it says check atomizer, replaced the coil and still same behaviour. Works fine in wattage mode. When I try SS316 it always says temp protect from the first puff. I am running latest software
retird Posted August 3, 2019 Report Posted August 3, 2019 Does it work just fine while vaping in TC mode? Most of the time temp protect means you have reached the desired temp... poor connections or contact between coils wraps can cause issues and give temp protect message...
drjohnson61 Posted August 3, 2019 Report Posted August 3, 2019 I'm guessing that your Clapton SS316L wire is probably not pure stainless. I have some coils I thought were SS316L but the core is A1 Kanthal, Vandy Vape Alien Coil. I couldn't understand why they wouldn't work in TC mode but when I looked Closer I noticed the A1 : [ 26ga(A1)*3+30ga(SS316L) ] . I hope this helps you a little.
shehabismail Posted August 4, 2019 Author Report Posted August 4, 2019 They are contact coils and 100% SS

shehabismail Posted August 4, 2019 Author Report Posted August 4, 2019 It should work even if its contact, my new Vaporesso GEN Works fine with the same build. Also it should work if the wire has SS or any other temp control material...

I offer a suggestion to try a spaced coil as many have found this solves their issues.... Good luck...

Good luck... tried spaced coil. same issue. this is so frustrating, same clapton builds work fine on my other dna 200 and 250
retird Posted August 22, 2019 Report Posted August 22, 2019 The check atomizer message can mean several things. Maybe the device is built different than the 200 and 250 you have (the 200 and 250 don't have replay either) and there is a connection issue with that atty which will give a check atty message.. Can you put the same coil in a different atty and try it? Note that some atty's don't play well with replay..... here is a link if you choose to visit..... your atty may, or may not be one shown that doesn't play well with replay... https://forum.evolvapor.com/forum/42-replay-and-atomizers/ Does it work just fine while vaping in TC mode on the 250C?

Atty works fine on other DNA devices in SS316L Temp control.
retird Posted August 22, 2019 Report Posted August 22, 2019 I'll ask again: Does it work just fine while vaping in TC mode on the 250C? I'll ask again: Can you put the same coil in a different atty and try it on the 250C in TC and Replay modes? The 250C is different than the 200 and 250....... Please comment after you do these things....
