BLACKMAMBA505 Posted May 9, 2019 Report Posted May 9, 2019 Need help. background info. I installed a new lipo changed the connector to match (xt30) looked good to me after it was done. all the read outs check to me but the usb current limit. its been like 6 hours from 50% to 70% like wtf. .16a. i just don't know what could be the issue i should get minimum .5a.
BLACKMAMBA505 Posted May 9, 2019 Author Report Posted May 9, 2019 Update i let it charge overnight. since it would be another 6 hours or so. i woke up to find that the battery has drained to zero. but now the usb current is .23a rather .16a
dwcraig1 Posted May 9, 2019 Report Posted May 9, 2019 Did you get the PM that I sent you a couple of hours ago?
dwcraig1 Posted May 9, 2019 Report Posted May 9, 2019 Go here, to get it taken care of if you don't locate the problem. https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add&category=1
BLACKMAMBA505 Posted May 9, 2019 Author Report Posted May 9, 2019 @dwcraig1 yeah taking its apart now and will clean it down then reinstall. 1
BLACKMAMBA505 Posted May 9, 2019 Author Report Posted May 9, 2019 ok i took out the board cleaned it now the usb current is at .19a its hard stuck. i think there is something wrong. not sure what i can do anymore. the board was made in 2017.
JacobEvolv Posted May 9, 2019 Report Posted May 9, 2019 BlackMamba50, I noticed that the USB power is only at .8 watts. Have you tried a different charger ?
BLACKMAMBA505 Posted May 10, 2019 Author Report Posted May 10, 2019 now i'm hearing it might be a blown fuse. after it charged last night the battery almost dropped to zero for i don't know what reason. though the usb current is now higher at .23 it's still low. and i've let it sit charging for hours and its still stuck at zero percent. even with usb battery recovery. the usb power is at 1.1 now. do you guys think it's the fuse?
dwcraig1 Posted May 10, 2019 Report Posted May 10, 2019 Not the fuse. Charging rate is probably going to be low using USB recovery till it gets to above 2.5 volts per cell.
BLACKMAMBA505 Posted May 10, 2019 Author Report Posted May 10, 2019 @dwcraig1 but remember it was .16 yesterday past 70%
dwcraig1 Posted May 10, 2019 Report Posted May 10, 2019 I'm looking at voltage of cells because % ihas no accuracy
BLACKMAMBA505 Posted May 10, 2019 Author Report Posted May 10, 2019 @dwcraig1 after hours and hours its simply not charging the lipo. external charger and pc i don't know what to do.
retird Posted May 12, 2019 Report Posted May 12, 2019 Check the cell balance tap pinouts against the pin outs of the li-po you put in...and are all connections still solid??? https://downloads.evolvapor.com/dna250.pdf 1
