hcigar vt75d charging problem

have a new vt75d and it will charge to 4.11 volts and displays 95%.red light off and no green led. Then if i unplug the usb and reconnect it will charge to 98% and again stop but now green led

Removing the batteries and charging them externally on my charger and place them in the vt75d they show 98% and 4.17 volts.

Is this normal or have I got something set wrong.

Never had any problems like this  with all 3 of my vt75 and 2 vt75 nano mods

i dont have this particular mod . but to give you a idea, others dna 75c i have always show me in the mod info screen 4.18v when i know they are fully charged at 4.20v fresh from the external charger and tested on mu multimeter.

Same here - 4.18V when fully charged with an external charger. However, display went from 98% to 100% after installing the appropriate .csv profile. Not sure if that was just coincidence, but still worth a try.

I changed the csv for an old one I had for the 75. it was for 25r and it seems to work better. however this morning the light was not on and when i clicked the power to check the charge it said 100% and when i released it the green led came on.

went to the theme designer and made sure the return arrow was on the charged color.

does any one have a csv for samsung 30q. would like to have one that fits?

 

It is now 5:40pm and I have been vaping all day and it is at 91%

Hi !

I'm planning on buying a VT75D but I heard the battery compartment was pretty tight. How do the Samsung 30Q fit in yours ?

I have used Samsung 25r and Samsung 30q and they all fit just fine.

The metal part of the mod on mine is exactly the size of the plastic sled.  For what it is worth the serial number is 0024.

I am thinking of getting another one this time silver.

Thank you! I'm pre-planning to get the Lost Vape Mirage DNA75C and will want to experiment with 20700/21700 batteries, does this mean I have to run the battery analyzer to get a CSV for it?

No you never "needed" to, the CSVs from battery analyser and battery capacity do not affect performance, they just make the fuel gauge more accurate.  (Low cut off and the current limits do affect performance.)
