Sticky907
Can someone please explain to me what locking the resistance is all about. I am brand new to temp control and so far this damn Ti wire is kicking my ass.
VapingBad
I never use it, but it locks the base or cool resistance of your coil(s) and stops the value being refined by the board, it can help where the 510 or coil connections are inconsistent or if you use it in a profile for a particular atty you can then fit that atty when it's warm and switch to that profile. blueridgedog
I have to use it on some of my atomizers due to their varying resistance. On in particular will vary from adding .02 to .15 to the total resistance. With a .23 coil in, it vapes great with the base resistance, but when it reads .15 more it is unusable. I lock it in. For me this is a function of a weak 510 spring as the atomizer behaves with more pressure on the center pin.
