Ratari Posted October 21, 2015 Author Report Posted October 21, 2015 Hi here,i was vaping a 0.07 build just like every day than suddenly the screen went dark and stayed like that.At home i disassembled the mod and found a blown fuse,i (poorly) soldered another one in, checked the lipo with a multi ( ~3.8V at all cells) and hooked only the balance connector in for testing with escribe.something went terribly wrong but i cant find the problem or damage, pls helpand sorry for my english
Ratari Posted October 21, 2015 Author Report Posted October 21, 2015 i did the software update and the screen flashed a few times and now it says Warranty service
VapingBad Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 Cell 1 is too low for it to operate properly, I would charge the battery on an external charger if you have one, I doubt there is any risk charging with USB but just don't know 100%. Then see what it is doing with a charged battery.
Ratari Posted October 22, 2015 Author Report Posted October 22, 2015 after connecting the plus, minus and the balance connector to the board it showed me 3.18V on cell 1-3 but still won't charge, like i sad, the Lipo is good with the multimeter, something on the board must be not working properly
VapingBad Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 Maybe a dry solder joint or dirty pin on the balance connector.
blueridgedog Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 Fuse blew and now you believe it reads cell voltages wrong. What do you actually get with your meter on that pack? If you are 100% certain the board is measuring the pack wrong and all the connections are solid, then I would open a support ticket to swap it. I would double check though.
