rob79513
Hi has anyone had a dna board boot to 8.5w and start acting like you are pressing the down button? It will reach 1w then display the patent number as well as evlov dna. I have tried updating firmware and resetting.
retird
Maybe the down button is stuck. Onboard buttons or auxillary buttons?
rob79513
I thought it was a stuck tact and checked that. I am using the on board tact switches and the problem is intermittent. But that is exactly what it is acting like.
awsum140
Check around the holes for the external buttons. There may be something shorting out the "down" connection intermittently.
rob79513
Just did that now it's completely dead. Won't even be detected when it's plugged in to the computer. It is a sad day. I loved my dna box while it worked.
blueridgedog
If there was no short, and no stuck switch, then send it in for replacement.
Bazvaper
I had my Boxer 133 from Gingervaper do this 8w down to 1w behaviour. The device is with them currently for repair and I hope to get it back soon. The fire button seems to work as it will wake the device. I wonder if it could be juice causing some kind of short as the body of the boxer seems to be porous.
Guest
I've had the 40 and the 200 do that to me I blamed it on my crappy solder iron after getting a good iron I haven't had any problems and I make sure no hair like wire fell on to the board. But both boards are junk
