That's it, nothing with a button as opposed to a mechanical switch turns "off", they all have power to the circuit board or they would not turn on again.  The power use is very low and nothing to worry about.

The DNA depends on the watt hours value put into EScribe. If the DNA doesn't know the true watt hours on the batteries, it won't get the percentage accurately. It is probably sitting at the default.
