JaI Haze
Ok so quick question. This sounds really weird and I dont know what would be causing this. I have a brand new dna installed from Ginger Vaper as my fuse went on my old one. The issue I am having now is it WORKS fine after it wakes up via usb. When it goes back to sleep it wont turn the mod back on until I wake it up with USB. What would cause this?
Spector NS5 RD
you can first try a hard reboot. then go down in, then back up to your current firmware (reinstall firmware). i have yet to hear of a fix for this exact problem. i'm almost sure this is an RMA again for you. best thing to do is contact the vendor (ginger vaper) and let them know what's going on with your device. BillW50
While having the DNA connected to EScribe, Tools -> Reboot -> Hard Reboot.
JaI Haze
yeah i tried it. No dice. Its weird it works perfectly fine after jumpstarted with usb
BillW50
The only thing I can think of that would be a long shot, but easy to try is to do a force firmware update. I think that is under Tools too, but I am not sure.
JaI Haze
i tried everything even installing OLDER firmware. Nothing is working. So I just sent them the boxer and a new DNA chip I bought from evolv. Sucks but whatever right

JaI Haze
yeah apparently its an issue with some DNA chips. Very awkward.
combatwombat
Very strange. I'll let the electrical engineers respond to this, but it sounds like a battery problem, if not the fuse.
BillW50
@combatwombat: If it were a fuse or a battery problem, it would never fire.
