Modbustersecig Posted August 25, 2016 Report Posted August 25, 2016 I was wondering why not put a replaceable fuse on the negative side of the battery could that cause a problems . 15/20 amp I was looking at my mod when I got it done I have the room pretty happy with the way it came out
BillW50 Posted August 25, 2016 Report Posted August 25, 2016 The only negative thing I know about having a fuse on the negative side is in the RC crowd, it is well known that if you leave batteries always connected, the negative wire and connections tend to corrode. Although those were using NiCad and NiMH for the radios. I guess automobile batteries does the same thing. But I can't say if lithium batteries also has the negative corrosion problem. As I had never seen that happen.
