Using Steam Engine csv files.

So this my problem may be elementary for most on here but here I go.
I'm having a problem getting csv files because when I download them they go to Microsoft Excel.I have not a clue as how to convert this to a file I can use in escribe.
I use Mozilla to download the file but converting from Excel is my problem.
Unfortunately this needs to be explained to me like I am five years old.I'm 55 and pretty new to this and my comp skills are sort of lacking.

It's real simple. you just add them to materials available on escribe, then add them to materials on device. upload settings. Then, change all 8 presets to one of the new materials on device, and then  delete the stock settings for each material, as you change them.

Hmmm.Yes.I know how to load the files in escribe and set them in the profiles but lets see if this question can help.
When I download from Steam Engine it loads the file to Excel.How do I convert from Excel to a file I can use in escribe?

The file I attached opens in Excel.It won't load into escribe as is and I need to know how to convert it to a file I can use.

Use the button circled in red.
 
but with resister wire such as Kanthal the device will recognize it as such. No CSV file is needed for Nichrome or Kanthal.
Your attached CSV file is of the type used....btw

Yes.Thank you.That works.I primarily use ss316L and ni200 wire and now I can use the csv files.Ahhhh.Satisfaction.

In the wire wizard in steam-engine you can click on the DNA200 button and download the csv file ......... can this csv file also be used for the DNA 75 ?

If I could get my head around this question then I could move on ..... he said hopefully .

Yes, and DNA 60 & 250, all EScribe capable DNA boards.

Where can I find Kanthal A1 material ?

Kanthal doesn't have a .csv because its' resistance is, basically, unchanged at the temperature range that vaping works at.  It cannot be used in TC mode so no .csv is needed in any event.
