arnett287 Posted December 7, 2016 Author Report Posted December 7, 2016 What's up guy's. My partner has came across a puzzling issue. Has anyone used battery tubes in a 133 of so do you have a diagram. Everything is wired exactly like you would on a sled and nothing happens
VapingBad Posted December 7, 2016 Report Posted December 7, 2016 Are the tubes isolated (electrically) from the case?I have not seen a diagram as it all depends how you are fitting the tubes in the case, because the cells are in series you can't have both tubes grounded to the case.
arnett287 Posted December 7, 2016 Author Report Posted December 7, 2016 They are in a stabilized wood enclosure separated by wood and acrylic
VapingBad Posted December 7, 2016 Report Posted December 7, 2016 Great, I'll have a quick bash in paint, it won't be pretty I'm afraid, but if anyone has one please post it.
arnett287 Posted December 7, 2016 Author Report Posted December 7, 2016 Awesome man I appreciate it, seems the forum is dead
VapingBad Posted December 7, 2016 Report Posted December 7, 2016 You can just jump terminals 2 & 3 you don't have to have 2 wires, hope this makes sense.
arnett287 Posted December 7, 2016 Author Report Posted December 7, 2016 That's how it's currently wired. And can't get anything more than a flicker of the screen. Hmmm
arnett287 Posted December 7, 2016 Author Report Posted December 7, 2016 I'm trying to get him to send a picture of it to post
arnett287 Posted December 7, 2016 Author Report Posted December 7, 2016 Hopefully this is clear enough
retird Posted December 7, 2016 Report Posted December 7, 2016 Anything unusual in Escribe or Device Monitor?
VapingBad Posted December 7, 2016 Report Posted December 7, 2016 It could just be that the screen cable has got damaged, try hooking it up to EScribe Device monitor and looking at the cell levels, also on the Themes tab you can get a capture of what the screen should be showing.
arnett287 Posted December 7, 2016 Author Report Posted December 7, 2016 Thanks guys, I'll re update tomorrow when back at the shop.
arnett287 Posted December 10, 2016 Author Report Posted December 10, 2016 Alright we have changed the cells to 2 in escribe and everything reads in that program. Once we unplug it from the USB with cells inserted nothing happens. I know the problem is not getting the power to the board at that point, but we have used every suggested diagram given
dwcraig1 Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 If you can determine pack is present at B+ and B- using a meter then you need to check for pack voltage between B- and the upper (towards center) end of the fuse.Keep in mind that the board is coated so it may be difficult to make a connection at the fuse.Or without battery connected check for continuity between B+ and upper end of fuse.
