Issues with battery or board?

I hope someone can help me here....

I have the following constant issues:

1)  battery constantly starts and stops charging.  a hard reboot seems to take care of it for a while.

2)  when I fire the mod in power mode (temp control off) the wattage drops off rapidly even with a mostly charged battery and the batter icon flashes. hard reboot fixes this also for a time

any ideas what it could be?

thanks in advance!

  • What kind of Mod?
  • What kind of Battery (detailed)?
  • Device Monitor Print Screen, (not crooked cell phone pic)of when you see this occurring.

sorry all very important thing missed!

lost vape efusion duo.

battery is fully max 1300mah

hard reboot sometimes fixes it but seems to NOT happen when battery is >80% full.

I have done the usb recovery charge and that doesn't seem to have fixed it.

your input is VERY appreciated.

@dwcraig I believe has hit it on the head.

However for your issue 1, was this fine at one time. Either way, it still looks like time for a replacement. I'm glad you didn't take offence to my post, but it just makes everything much easier. If you're not hindered by the dual 18650 limitations, you'll get longer run time till you get a new Lipo. That's still one of my fave 200's that I own.

no offense at all, I should know better!

would this be a suitable replacement?  https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-nano-tech-1300mah-3s-25-50c-lipo-pack.html

would I have to change any setting ins escribe?

thanks so much.  I hope the charging issue is related to the bad batt!

Suitable replacement - You'd need to measure the dimensions of the current LiPO to make sure this one will fit. In my old tired mind, I believe it does but don't hold me to it.

Nothing really needed to be changed in escribe, except it would be good to run your own 'battery analyzer' test after a couple of recharges.

You might need to change the connector on the end of the battery to match what's currently in the mod. I think it's an xt30 in the mod, but don't hold me to it. Usually Hobby (like RC) stores are familiar with all of that, or can do that soldering for you.

thanks.  dimensions are the same.  and dammit it is an xt30 in the mod.

Either way, you'll probably want to shorten the wire length as it's quite a tight fit already.

and definitely not enough room for an adapter.... would it be much of an issue going from the much higher gauge wiring on the turnigy (or at least it looks bigger) down to the 18awg that run to the board?
