okay, I had a bit of time and leisure - here are two themes exclusively for you (as far as this can be said in a public forum):
HOG_400_enhanced_by_GWYAR-portrait.ecigtheme
You can find details here:
HOG_400_basic_by_GWYAR-landscape.ecigtheme
You can find details here:
In this landscape version, I executed the lockscreen as portrait mode, but then the other screens in Landsape, as this enables me to display the fonts larger and therefore more legible. I have not yet published this in this form ...

I've looked at the theme now - cruel.
The theme, even if it is original from the manufacturer, has graphical defects as well as a functional error, which leads to a "white screen error": the "About" screen was simply forgotten without removing the link in the menu! Here the theme with the missing screen and a visually revised version. This is not only easier to read, but also sensibly shows the output voltage of all 4 cells separately.
HOG 400 Default corrected.ecigtheme HOG 400 Default 2.0.ecigtheme
@Gr13f If you are really interested, I can revise the optics (and perhaps functionally) a little further.

If the theme corresponds to this, I am not surprised by the error - the "About" screen simply seems to be missing ... (I did NOT download the theme and looked it up in the ThemeDesigner, I do not have my laptop at hand)
I would URGENTLY recommend a different theme anyway - this is a catastrophe for the eyes 🧐

Stock theme or custom theme? I'm assuming a custom theme, at least a modified theme. In this case, please contact the theme author.

Since im using SS coils it is very important for me to have everything properly set up because even the slightest error will throw the temps way off.
Hm ... I use my mods (Therion 75c, Paranormal 250c, Centaurus 250c, Odin Mini 75c) out-of-the-box and never had any problems.
As long as the coil is really suitable for TC mode - no problems.

The only thing I don't agree with is when preheat stops. Even at a punch of 11, preheat settings stop before reaching the set temp.
I think I expressed myself ambiguously; the target temperature is not necessarily exceeded in the preheat phase.
Even with a setting preheat punch = 11 (max), the temperature assigned by the chipset is below the final target temperature, for example target temperature 450 ° F + preheat punch 11 = preheat temperature 440 ° F. I assume that Evolv designed this precisely to counteract the re-heating of the coil. Ultimately, however, one of the developers would have to comment on this. In any case, I have not yet succeeded in setting the mod so that the maximum temperature of a puff matches the target temperature - UNLESS I go down accordingly with the output power.- 1

While @gwyar is correct, to me Device Monitor is even easier Edit: Just noticed my max temperature was 1.82 degrees above the set temperature. Let's see yours
Even if the wattage is almost optimally adjusted to the target temperature, the maximum temperature will always be slightly above the target temperature, since the power supply is only reduced when the target temperature is reached and the coil continues to heat briefly due to its inertia.
The average temperature will ALWAYS be below the target temperature, as the heat-up phase is also taken into account in the evaluation. In order to be able to optimally coordinate the power and preheat to the coil, in my current landscape themes in TC mode I always show the power actually used next to the target temperature, as well as the maximum and average temperature, directly on the main screen.
I show the temperature of the preheat here, but when this is selected the display changes to the punch assigned to the temperature and the setting is also made as a punch (1 to 11). In this way, the internal dependency (Preheat-Temp <=> Preheat Punch) can also be clearly seen, as well as the influence of the target temperature on the presetting that I described above.

In order to understand the functionality and interrelationships of preheat in TC mode, it is helpful to create a screen in the theme in which the target temperature, preheat temperature and preheat punch are displayed at the same time. Then you will see that as the punch changes, the preheat temperature changes in fixed steps. These in turn depend on the target temperature. I can only recommend this approach, it really creates a lot of understanding.

That screen glitch, I think could be juice in/on the Zif connector that attaches the screen to the board. I'd remove it, then clean or reassemble. If that doesn't work I'd buy a new screen. Screens are not a warranty item.
As far as I interpret the photos correctly, different fields, even different screens are displayed at the same time, which should not be displayed at the same time; It is therefore not a matter of a fault in the display, but of the control. The error can only be in the firmware, the theme, or directly in the chipset. You can actually exclude the connector from the board.

For the actual function of the chipset, it is irrelevant from which mod the basic settings come. Here it is the factory settings of the Centaurus. The differences are - if made at all by the mod manufacturer - in the electrical correction values.
-
There are a lot of display errors, I would first go back completely to the factory settings of Evolv. You can load attached files with Escribe.
Otherwise, an update of the firmware cannot do any harm ...

I looked at my notes. This is the second set, and the first one was enough for two years
The set of 2, which I was talking about at the beginning, is almost 3 years old ... So I don't complain if the capacities of the two deviate from each other as described.

Internal charging is actually only prohibited with the 75c and more than 1 cell (e.g. Therion 75c, or Paranormal 75c).
I have never heard that before.
Not forbidden in the sense of "Evolv did not allow it", but if more than 1 battery cell is used, the batteries of the 75C (100C?) Are operated in parallel. They are not evaluated individually and therefore cannot be loaded reliably. In the extreme case - 1 new cell + 1 deeply discharged cell - an explosion can occur.

The board IMHO uses the volts of the the lowest cell to trigger the 'weak' and 'check' battery warnings.
Ok, that's the crucial piece of information, at least in terms of 250c
(100c: "The DNA 100 Colour is powered by a single lithium cell and can also be wired in parallel configuration")
vor 25 Minuten schrieb Wayneo:... but externally charging will bring both back up to their full charge much quicker than internally charging.
Basically, I always have a few cells ready in the charger, in the mod I actually only charge when I'm traveling. Internal charging is actually only prohibited with the 75c and more than 1 cell (e.g. Therion 75c, or Paranormal 75c). However, I don't know anything about non-C chipsets.

Hi everyone,
I hope that the question has not been asked too often and that this is not the umpteenth question:
When using several cells, it is normal to a certain extent that they age differently or have aged differently. Which (open circuit) voltage difference between the individual cells can be regarded as problem-free with regard to the risk of deep discharge of the weakest cell?As an example, I have 2 cells here and now with a total battery level of 30%.
Cell 1: 3.66V
Cell 2: 3.54V
Both the same cell type / manufacturer. In my other pairings, the individual voltages are a maximum of 0.02V apart.
Do I have to worry now?

So I've already made the experience in the cell phone sector that it can first and foremost be down to the cable. Fast charging with the original Huawei cable - no problem. Other cables - a matter of luck. Incidentally, on the 250c 2 amps are no magic with a good cable, but it is actually an issue that the circuit board or the chip for charge control heats up exponentially more with increasing charging current. The batteries are not far and do not like high temperatures (max. 65 degrees Celsius), I am also careful with the display. At 2 amps, the board temperature is already around 60 degrees Celsius, the charge controller can handle 85 ... Perhaps you should actually keep an eye on the temperature at 3 amps.

In any case, ask for advice there - if it's a "real" shop ...
I am still counting on a setting problem, faulty boards with the appearance described are more the exception. -

That's really good - there have been too many problems with TC / Replay in the recent past, which were at least partly due to a custom theme.

Thank you, I'm very happy that you like it. Personally, I've only been using landscape themes for some time - larger and therefore more legible fonts can be displayed. Operation is also easy; you always hold your mod at an angle in your hand anyway. But I can also understand it when people cannot imagine it. For me it was initially just an attempt, precisely because of the larger fonts 🤓. Meanwhile, I also see design advantages.
But in this case that was easy 😂
