  1. Thanks - this worked for me - no need to do the other things in the "start here" link, building these two packages is enough to make escribe work again on Xubuntu 20.4 without interfering with anything else that may be using newer mono.
  2. I am using xubuntu, my mono version is 4.6.2.7+ works fine except in device monitor the colour for the legend on the left doesn't paint so you need to guess the graphs. Also cpu goes high and my fans come on, not an issue for occasional use. Thanks to who made this possible. I'll hold off upgrading mono for time being,
  3. If you want to know about durability of 3d printed nylon heres a picture of my boxer mod thats been in daily use for 2.5 years, its faded was black. Most of them are printed in white and dyed. The ally black one above is actually printed in black nylon, i think they also do a grey solid colour the rest are dyed. Boxer and Rebel are made by the same process, i think its sla 3d print.
  4. I use tc exclusively and have been for a long time. I was a yihi fan but i got a paranormal and love dna250c. My understanding is that you need to use slightly spaced coils with tc. I consider replay to be a form of automatic tc. I make simple coils from 317L 0.4mm something like 9 wraps 2.5mm. Replay works very similar to tc for me they both give a pleasant consistant vape. Replay possibly a bit smoother. I was using the default material with replay and it worked well. I copied my custom 317L material to the replay profile and its slightly better. This is why i consider replay to be like an automatic tc. If you are using more exotic coils with mixed materials it can be hard to get a correct tc curve, this is where replay comes in I guess.
  5. Thanks for porting this, working great in the limited use Ive made so far - Xubuntu - Device monitor uses ~100% of one CPU, not really an issue though. I can replicate the bug @Struktur has saving device puffs.
  6. I got a couple of these magsafe style cables. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Magnetic-Lighting-Cable-3-Charging-Syncing/dp/B072NB6QTF If my link gets removed due to me being new, just google magnetic usb cable. You get them with usb-c micro and lightning adapters. you just leave the magnetic part in the port. I did not find myself using them much though. When you have a variety of chargers/devices plus other family members in the house you need a lot of them and kind of defeats the objective of universality. I previously had a yihi sx550j mod which i 3d printed that has usb-c. I just bought my 1st dna mod after using yihi for years and would rather the new ones had usb-c too since it will be the standard in the future. usb-pd would be great in a mod for larger battery setups.
