  1. I have not seen this accessory board for sale anywhere which leads me to believe its not going to be out with the release of this chip. It's something coming a little later. So most people are going to have to use the lipo's till that board is released. Which for me it doesn't matter because I am planning a build for power supply and one for on the go with a lipo.
  2. Thats not a good sign. I had heard 1 other guy had a good board but the screen was bad. He installed it and was able to use mod without screen till protovapor sent him a new chip/screen.
  3. Thats epic, those buttons look like gamecube controller buttons lol.
  4. Ok cool I hadn't actually looked at the spec sheet yet, I had heard 55amp somewhere. But now I wonder why if they only need 23amp input why in the heck they even need such high output lipo's? Oh maybe its because they wanted to have the input voltage be higher than the output voltage so it could be a buck only chip, instead of buck/boost. Because I would think that 2 18650's in series would be way more than enough amp's or a 2s lipo in series. Actually this makes me happy personally because I can now get a lot cheaper of a power supply. Thanks for setting me straight!
  5. I'm just guessing but I had heard rumors of them making diy kits with the reference mod they used for beta. I really hope that is true because it will make it way easier for people to get into putting together their own mods with a dna 200, good experience, fun, and saves money.
  6. I am also interested in doing a build with a power supply. Do I need to have basically one that will be over 55 amps that this dna 200 can draw? Because the guy above mentioned a 23amp one but is that going to be enough. I saw the RC power supplys that looks like they would be able to do the job. Like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Power-Supply-12-Volt-DC-75AMP-900W-for-RC-Charger-Blue-Diamond-Plate-FREE-SHIP-/321552257880?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ade021358 The only issue I see is there seems to be several wires coming off of it. I don't know if it would work.
  7. Sir you are a gentleman and scholar for trying to help out even though I don't own a mac and I hate macs (I only will use computers I can build, can't do that with MACs or at least that I know of) and don't use them I applaud you for trying to do something to help out the people that don't have windows based PCs. Someone should also port it to linux but I am happy with windows if I can't use linux. I have both on my PCs. Anyways I also am in the IT field. Done some programming, PC repair, remote PC repair and now I am back in school to go into the networking portion of it all. Anyways I hope John and Brandon take you up on your generous offer.
  8. Oh noes its being done vt vasilinegay i mean basilray? Is that a good thing? Jking man, I love some of your reviews I used to watch from time to time. Thanks for putting in the work I cannot wait for this release!
  9. I checked into uploading the files onto sculpteo, I am not sure if the files are coming up as the correct size. It pulls up the buttons as being in cm but the size makes sense more so in mm. Also it does say there are some places that are to thin. Before I go through all the trouble of turning this into a real thing and spend a ton of money doing so. I had heard there might be future plans of there being a diy kit of this reference mod being made in the future. My guess is this would be better done and also cheaper as it would be done in larger numbers. If this is happening is it way out in the distant future? Also the large button came out as 10 X 11 X 4 CM but it seems way to large and estimated at over $400 lol. But when switched to mm scale it seems to make more sense at the size. Similar thing with the other smaller buttons. The 2 main parts of the frame seemed to be the correct sizes and wall. Maybe its just a issue with sculpteo itself. Also what battery is being used in the reference mod so I know what I am looking for if I decide to try this out in the future.
